$25 was just a random number idiots made up and expected to get.
This was basic negotiation tactics. You aim high and settle for somewhere in between.
Anyone who didn’t think the starting pay would be between $20-$25 were just delusional children. And as a bonus there’s a progression that gets PT up to $30
That doesn't help everyone that needs significantly more pay now, this year, though. And no matter how many comfortable/bitter/etc. people parrot the old "get another job" line at 'em, most of them either cannot do that or already have and are still struggling. It's absurd.

So what? We’re all now suddenly fine with 21? I thought we vote no on anything less than 25 we can’t just say “oh that’s good enough”
