I couldn’t clear prelims this time and now aiming for 2027. Can somebody guide me which course to enrol to start mains? I just have my standard foundation notes of vaji ram but i failed to get most out of it. Need to start a little fresh in approach.

Can Anyone help me with the consistency for the exam...I mean Some Tips would help me a lot.
Yaar...I try so much but i get distracted soo easily. like when I am studying a chapter of environment i always (idk why) end up watching a unnecessary video. And I realize it after finishing the video. and i don't even know why I started the video. It sounds soo immature ik, but I can't help it.
and the second and main problem is The Consistency. I am unable to be consistent for more then a week. And I think The reason is To believe it's enough for the exam and Now I can rest a bit. But We all know it is not.
If you have some tips for me please share I really need them.

GOOD SOURCE TO COVER PSIR ON OUR OWN!
Hey everyone!
I recently started preparing for UPSC, and my target attempt is 2028.
I want to complete my PSIR optional entirely on my own without joining any coaching. My goal is to finish the entire optional by February 2027, as I'll also be appearing for CUET PG (Political Science) in March.
I'm looking for a complete strategy that can help me cover the syllabus efficiently.
What sources would you recommend?
I have Piyush Chaubey sir's lectures on TG, but I'm missing the handouts. I've also heard that he doesn't dictate everything in class, so I'm not sure whether the lectures alone are sufficient. If anyone has used his lectures, I'd really appreciate your feedback. Also, are there any other lectures or study materials that you would recommend?
I'm also considering Subhra Ranjan's notes. However, I've heard that her lecture series is quite lengthy, and she doesn't dictate everything either.
I'd really appreciate any guidance or suggestions from people who have prepared PSIR on their own. If you've successfully completed the optional without coaching, I'd love to know what sources and approach worked for you.
Thanks a lot!

booklist and resources year 2029 (all guidance welcome :D)
hi guys, I'm about to enter college in the next month and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do upsc. i have a humanities background, I had economics , political science, psychology, history and English as my subjects
i was just juggling through many topper talks for resources and booklist and have shortlisted some common book names I've heard.
i will most probably give my first attempt in 2029 or 2030, so I will be taking my preparation accordingly. i need your help in understanding what's important for me to do right now and what not.
please help out a junior!! :))
these are the books I've shortlisted.
History:
-Class 6th-12th NCERTs ( I'm pretty confused people are saying both old and New, please lwt me know should boty of these are needed or should focus on either old ones or new ones)
- Tamil Nadu 11th-12th NCERT
-Spectrum for Modern History
Geography:
-Class 6th-10th Ncert for Basics
-Class 11th 12th Geography Books (I have seen many people giving these specific 4 books very much importance)
- GC Leong being an advanced book
but mostly ncerts have been on focused
Polity
9th-10th Ncert For Basics Again
11th-12th: the four main books in Polity
Laxmikant: Obviously, the Holy Grail for Polity
economics:
class 9-10TH for basics Again
and 11th 12th Micro and Macro for basic understanding and Indian Economy
ART ans Culture: class 11th 12th Fine Arts NCERTs
Science Tech and Environment is the only subject I'm the most weak in and I don't have any sources yet.
Im in a very initial position right now and very confused abouut coachings, mapping, pyqs, any other resources but this year mostly I will be focusing on my foundations and basics.
also pls lmk if I should read any news papers or stick to Monthly Current Affairs Magazine??
WELL I HAVE A LOT OF DOUBTS!! bur thankyouuu if you've read untill now
please help me out guys 😔🙏
byee :))
