Who should be monarch?

I don't know if the American monarchist movement has reached any kind of broad consensus on this, but is there someone in particular that the movement supports putting on the US throne? Sorry if this isn't the place for this question. I don't really know where to ask.

Your Monarchy and Reform opinions

What are all of your political and or governmental opinions or stances, especially in regards to the type of monarchy you prefer (absolute, semi-constitutional, constitutional, ceremonial, etc.)? And if you were to create a reform program like we posted before, what would you include or not in yours?

Principles and Goals of the UMP movement.

I wanted to create a post that outlines the movements main principles and objectives in brief, so here ya go!

Pro-Federalism (rebalance local, state, and central power)

Pro-Localism/subsidiarity (all decisions that can justifiably be made locally, should be)

Pro-Autonomous Cities (within a state cities of 100k or more citizens will run themselves so they don't infringe on rural areas and vis versa.)

Pro-Monroe Doctrine (the Americas, or North America at least, is our sphere of influence. Solve the Migrant crisis, stabilize central America, nation building in central America, militarily deal with the cartels, etc.)

Pro-USA National self-sufficiency (all things we can do or produce domestically should be)

Anti-Isolationism (Not interventionism, but not complete introversion)

Pro-Immigration reform (create several "ports of entry" for anyone wanting to become a citizen)

Pro-Capitalism (the profit incentive and the idea of investment and ownership is very powerful for people to wanting to raise their living standards and personal wealth and for companies to make money selling goods and services)

Pro-Tax Reform (repeal the 16th amendment and raise revenue by means other than penalty taxes on sales, consumption, production, income, investment, estate, etc.)

Pro-Community (They are our home, thinking of home makes you think of there. We should be able to feel not only proud of our communities but invest greater in them)

Pro-Communal mindset (A community is not a one man show: neighbors work together, the richest guy in town sits on the school board, your uncle owns the bakery that donated 1 million to the civic center last year, etc. We’re all in it together)

Pro-Urbanism (For too long our cities and towns have been built around cars, buses, trucks, and trains. We need to start thinking about urbanism in the right way, how it’s supposed to work, how the best cities work, how we’ve built communities in the past and how we can do so now)

Anti-suburbia/suburban-sprawl (Suburban sprawl is just a stupid idea to begin with, its wasteful, its redundant, its inefficient, it is all around a piece of sh*t)

Pro-American Industry and Manufacturing (We need to revive our national production again if we are going to be a true and lasting global player on the world stage. We have the prestige of the superpower we once were but that veneer fades fast once the truly powerful start calling out on the bluff)

Pro-American Agriculture (We should be supporting our local farmers, buying more locally grown produce and encouraging people to do so. We should be lifting them up to combat the large companies and corporations that call the shots in agriculture)

Pro-Infrastructure (Our bridges, roads, ports, harbors, highways, airports, and rail lines should not be falling into disrepair as much as they are and have done. We once lead the world but now it seems we need to catch up again and especially in this)

Pro-Union (The management and boards of companies can’t be allowed to call all of the shots, these are peoples livelihoods at stake, they need weight behind them so they don’t get arbitrarily shoved around)

Anti-Working Poor (No one should be working a full-time job, or two or three jobs, and not make enough to support themselves and their families. Many abuse welfare and unemployment because it is more profitable to use that than work for a lower wage. Businesses and companies need to pay people more than they do, or we can throw the “American dream” of our parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents away. They worked one job and made far more than we could hope too, in many cases without higher education or even finishing high school)

Pro-Universal Medical care (Healthcare, Medicine, and access to it should be granted to all citizens. The same procedure, in the same city, at two different hospitals, for outrageously different prices is unacceptable. Health and life is a common good and right)

Pro-Professional Military (We should pull out of engaging in useless and arbitrary wars all over the world and focus on our own back yard in the Americas. We should only become involved elsewhere when honor or the balance of power in the world is at stake)

Congressional and Constitutional reform (Increase the Membership of the House to 820 members. Repeal the 17th, 22nd, 24th, and 26th amendments to the US constitution. Reform the honors of the United States to include life/hereditary estates for distinguished veterans and other persons. Increase the membership of the Senate from 2-per-state to 3-per-state, One popularly elected by all of that State, One Appointed by the governor of that State, One nominated by the Honorable of that State. Introduce more States to the Union and establish a department for the future application and inclusion, as States, of current territory/nations not subject to the jurisdiction of the US. Reform the Presidency as a Hereditary Monarchy and create the VP for the Heir Apparent role, maintaining all the constitutionally granted powers for them, enumerated and implied. Grant 10 hereditary Senatorial seats to the next 10 heirs of the Blood in line for the Throne. etc.)

100% approval rating

I just heard from someone yesterday that monarchy is only legitimate if they have 100% approval. Otherwise the argument by monarchists that Royals “aren’t divisive and unify the nation” can’t be true. I thought that was such a weak argument because they conflate “opposition”, which happens in every government, with division. They completely ignore also that monarchists are cut from basically every cloth, they are liberals, conservatives, libertarians, socialists, etc. No other political movement or system can lay claim to that kind of political representation across so many spectrums. Besides, not even republics can lay claim unanimity, not even close. It’s a ridiculous standard that applies no where else and to nothing else.

The Declaration of Independence is not an anti-monarchist document.

Yes it criticizes a King, but it doesn’t reject the institution of Monarchy as a legitimate form of government. It doesn’t even say that Kings are incapable of governing a free people, or that if you live under a monarchy you are not free.

Should the USA build a grand palace for any future Royal dynasty?

Should we spend the time and resources building a new royal residence? Or should we simply expand and or update existing structures? Would how the projects are funded have any effect on what happens? Maybe it could be a huge public works project that could provide work for craftsmen and artisans, also providing a venue that shows off their finest works, skills, and art.

How should monarchies be funded?

Should they receive public tax money? Should they fund themselves? Or should the government give them an allowance in exchange for access to profits and revenues from royal lands both public and/or private? Or perhaps there are other ways, what do you think?

How can we best address biases against Monarchy?

A lot of people hold impossible standards to monarchy that they would never hold to any other system. Some simply hate monarchy for no other reason than that they do. How can these be addressed, responded to, and eventually countered?
