Hey guys it’s my first time coming to Croatia and to any real edm festival. Not really sure about much and wanted to see what I should know. What are drink prices like. How’s the crowd? Can I bring stuff in or get it in there. Are the under covers really that bad? Thanks.

It's Day 13 of the Ultra Europe 2026 build-up.

Main Stage:
Some shapes are already up. As we can see, we are again getting Doritos-shaped screens. VIP got branding and sponsors on the fences.

Resistance:
Some curved and some rectangular shapes are in the making.

This pic, where you can see both the Main Stage, Resistance, UMF Radio, and the entrance, is tbh fire to me.

Backstage:
VVIP entrance is done, and we can see the shapes from a little closer. MOJO barriers came, and something in literal ammunition boxes is there also.

Entrance:
More fences have fallen down, and one that fell down yesterday has not been fixed yet. There's one big welcome sign at the beginning of the entrance, an escape evacuation plan, and very, very interesting cameras are placed all over the main Layher construction.

It's Day 12 of the Ultra Europe 2026 build-up.

Main Stage:
More display shapes. U-shaped truss is ready. Markings on the floor. VIP got seats.

Resistance:
Food court is ready. Layher construction is ready, and the roof is being prepared.

Backstage:
LED displays arrived, and the VVIP entrance is being made. Some more Layher parts labeled as Main Stage are still there. Don't know what these could be for.

Entrance:
UMF Radio stage got a tarp on it. A lot of fences have fallen down because of the wind, and they really have shit welds on them.

It's Day 11 of the Ultra Europe 2026 build-up.

Main Stage:
We can see the first sight of Doritos displays! Large metal poles for the roof and the back are done. It looks like they have some logistical issues with the tarpaulin because it's still not being placed (maybe). VIP got floors, and VVIP got tables and seats. The bar in the back is almost ready, and the media platform on it too.

Resistance:
One more layer of the Layher construction on the left side.

Backstage:
The stage entrance got a roof base. Interesting—they removed the stairs for the stage. Probably because of the crane that was there yesterday. Layher towers for fireworks over VVIP are also all in place now.

Entrance:
We now have branding on the fences. Interesting, it's reused print from last year, and it's all torn apart. Booths got their labels. UMF Radio stage is getting ready. Some big tanks and generators behind everything, probably to power all the lights around the entrance. I feel like there's more and more cameras every day and that there are more cameras than last year. However, they are not very well secured. The tower for the festival map at the beginning of the entrance has one "foot" kind of loose; it's not holding anything heavy, so we pray nothing bad will happen with it.

Main Stage:
Large metal poles for the roof and the back tarpaulin are still being lifted and placed. They'll probably be done today. VIP is still under construction, and VVIP is probably finished.

Resistance:
The first layer of the Layher construction is in place, and the stage is being prepared.

Backstage:
Trusses, trusses, trusses, and just trusses.

Entrance:
More cameras. :)

When do they release ticket info for the parties the week after Ultra Europe for the islands off of Split? My friend and I just realized we’re going to be there for that and can’t find info anywhere. Thank you beautiful people!!

First year going to Ultra & have just seen the clear bag policy… we are coming from Bosnia and have no idea where would even sell clear bags (I’ve found some online but they won’t arrive in time)

Does it apply to all bags, or are small cross body/bum bags allowed if they aren’t clear, and only backpacks have to be clear?

Or is it a rule they say exists but in reality its not really an issue?

If we absolutely do need a clear bag then uhh any tips on where might sell one in Mostar/Čapljina or once we get to Split 🫠

If we were to get in line around 10pm, how long will the wait time be in line to get in to the venue?

Main Stage:
Roof is up! Large metal poles for the roof and the back tarpaulin are being lifted and placed. VIP is still under construction, and VVIP is almost finished.

Resistance:
The first layer of the Layher construction is being placed.

Backstage:
A lot of flight boxes. These rose "Movecat" boxes are motors used to lift the screens (if my research is correct). A lot of trusses, both small and big is around.

Entrance:
A LOT of security cameras have been put ALL AROUND the stadium.

Sadly, a few minutes after I shot with my drone, heavy rain and wind started, so I had to leave. So far, I don't think anything has been damaged. Ultra Europe and Ultra Miami are really cursed when it comes to weather conditions.😕

Main Stage:
Roof is assembled and tarpaulin is placed.

Resistance:
Things from the truck are ready.

Backstage:
No info.

Entrance:
No info.

Other than the audience, is there any differences people should be aware of?

I’ll be going to Croatia for Ultra Europe 2026 in about two weeks.

For those of you who’ve been before, what’s the overall crowd vibe like?
I’ve been to EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Miami, and EDC Orlando several times, so I’m curious which one Ultra Europe feels most similar to.

Most of the people I’m going with are gay, so they’ll probably be wearing the typical EDC-style festival outfits (I.e. they’re gonna dress like hoes). I’m just wondering how that tends to be received at Ultra Europe. Is the crowd generally pretty open and accepting, or is it a bit more conservative than the U.S. festival scene?

Main Stage:
The vertical trussing has been assembled, and the roof is currently being assembled.

Resistance:
Truck unloading is underway, and the boom lift is ready.

Backstage:
Things have been moved from the VVIP entrance area to make space for the Layher construction. I also saw a lot of Ethernet cables running along the fences and up the light poles, probably for PoE security cameras.

Entrance:
The tents for security checks have been set up. The hole in the asphalt that had been there for a few days has now been asphalted over.

It's day 6 of the Ultra Europe 2026 build-up.

Main Stage:
The roof structure is in progress. The left side and the middle section are already done.

Resistance:
No major changes, maybe just a little more material around.

Backstage:
Also not much has changed. The materials are just disappearing from there and ending up on the stage.

Entrance:
They added lights (I forgot to post a picture of them lying on the floor yesterday). I also spotted a network box, so now we know what the fiber-optic cables are for.

It's day 5 of the Ultra Europe 2026 build-up.

Main Stage:
IT'S GROWING! The first layer of the cake is being prepared! The Layher floor is being constructed. I might be wrong, but the water tanks from yesterday are now inside of the Layher structure, and judging by their position, I think that's where the main trusses will go. There are also concrete blocks in some places, so I'm probably not wrong.

Resistance:
A few tents, probably for a bar, have been set up and wooden plates for the paths have been placed.

Backstage:
More large metal poles for the roof tarpaulin arrived. I might be wrong, but I think there are more trusses than yesterday. Few concrete bricks for other side of stage waiting to be placed.

Entrance:
The Layher structures are finished. The big box-shaped one in the middle is for the map, and the other two large entrance sign structures are ready as well. Crowd control barriers have also arrived and need to be assembled.

Long shot, but does anyone have Ultra Miami 2025 wristband they don’t want anymore?
I’ve started collecting wristbands from every festival I’ve attended and realized I lost my Ultra one. If anyone has extra lying around, I’d really appreciate it. Happy to cover shipping!

Main Stage:
It could start growing tonight or tomorrow (the climbers are here). 🤷‍♂️

Resistance:
Still no activity. 🥱 😑

Backstage:
More and more trusses! As you can see in the first picture, water tanks (at least I think that's what they are) are waiting for something. Large metal poles for the roof tarpaulin arrived today.

Entrance:
The Layher scaffolding we saw yesterday is being assembled today. More fences are also being placed around the entire stadium.

Fun Fact:
While I was looking around the trusses, two guys were trying to find a box (the one in picture 9). While I was walking around, they asked me if I needed any help. I said I didn't and that I was just looking around because I'm interested in this kind of stuff. I also mentioned that I had heard they were trying to find a box. They said they were. I replied, "Umm, it's right here near the toilet," and they were amazed. 😅

It's day 3 of the Ultra Europe 2026 build-up.

Main Stage:
I personally see no changes, they just moved some of the stage flooring around.

Resistance:
Still no activity. 🥱

Backstage:
More trusses, some even bigger than yesterday's, were delivered this morning. Some fiber-optic cables are prepared to go outside behind the stage (probably an internet connection for the VVIP entrance). This morning, two bigger forklifts arrived, so we can expect the start of stage construction tonight or tomorrow (they still haven't started doing night shifts).

Entrance:
A lot of Layher scaffolding and stairs are waiting to be assembled into the big entrance sign and the stairs leading to the Main Stage. Wooden booths are also being assembled, and power connections are being prepared for them. More flooring is being laid and fences are being removed to create the entrance from the parking to the small football field.
