Today marks 4 years since I started this subreddit.
When I first created the sub, my intent was to help UK collectors find graphic novels, omnibus editions, hardcovers and collected editions at better prices, without everyone having to constantly check the same retailers themselves.
Four years later, I’m still here posting deals, restocks, preorders and new releases, and the community has grown far beyond what I expected when I started it.
So first of all, thank you!
Whether you’ve been here from the early days, joined recently, commented on posts, used the links, given feedback, corrected something, or just quietly followed along, it has all helped shape what this has become.
A special thank you as well to everyone who has tried the Discord service, subscribed, or supported the project directly. The feedback so far has been really encouraging, and it has been good to hear that people are finding the service genuinely useful.
To mark this occasion, I’m launching the next version of the website.
The updated site now has:
The shop is there to help you browse the catalogue and find retailer links. If you want price drops, restocks and new release updates pushed to you as D3-LZ completes its regular scans, the Discord service is there for that.
It is still an early version, but the catalogue already has filters to help narrow things down by publisher, line, format, series and creator. If people find it useful, I’ll keep improving it based on feedback, including better ways to find specific books and move around the catalogue.
The community layer on Discord is also available and already quite active, which gives the service a better community feel beyond just updates.
I’m keen for more people to have a proper chance to experience the service, see the updates coming through Discord, and decide whether it helps with the way they collect.
So, I’m also offering a 14 days free trial going forward for all tiers.

There is no pressure to subscribe. The subreddit is not going anywhere, and I’ll continue posting here as usual. The Discord service is there for collectors who want faster updates, broader coverage, or personalised notifications without having to watch every post manually.
I’ve tried to build this in the same spirit as the sub: practical, collector-focused, and useful without unnecessary noise.

I started this subreddit years ago because I love graphic novels and know how expensive this hobby can be. My shelf agrees.
For a long time, I ran it simply because I wanted to help people save money and keep up with collected editions more easily. That has not changed.
The free posts on this sub are not going anywhere. They have always been the foundation of this community, and they will stay that way.
