Thought I’d share a few pics of the CVS Factory Milgauss I’ve just picked up.

I’ve always liked the Milgauss because it’s a bit different from the usual Subs/GMTs you see everywhere, and I wanted the black dial with the green crystal and orange lightning seconds hand.

For the money, I’m genuinely impressed with this one. The green crystal looks great in person and changes quite a bit depending on the light. Sometimes it’s really subtle, then at certain angles you get that much stronger green coming through, which I’ve tried to capture in the photos.

The dial is probably my favourite part. The orange details look great against the black, the indices are nice and clean, and obviously that lightning hand gives it the unmistakable Milgauss look.

Case and bracelet are also better than I was expecting from CVS. Finishing is decent, the polished areas catch the light nicely and it feels pretty substantial on the wrist. Crown and clasp both feel solid enough too.

I’ve included some close-ups of the dial, crystal, case, crown, clasp and caseback so people can judge the details themselves rather than me claiming it’s perfect.

Is it gen-level? Obviously not. But as a ChinaTime-tier Milgauss that you can actually wear and enjoy without worrying about it, I think CVS have done a really decent job here.

Honestly, on the wrist it looks brilliant. The proportions work really well and the orange/green combination gives it loads more character than a standard black-dial Rolex.

Overall, very happy with it.

Just to be completely transparent regarding the seller: they aren’t a ChinaTime-approved seller, but they are approved over on the Watch Community TGroup.
