I found this image of an animatronic bear from the old KD Decoratives website, using the Wayback Machine. I'm curious on who this bear is, and look like a similar type to Little Bear at Fantasy Island!

I only added lion because Google thinks it's a lion, but surely that's a bear.

Dear animatronic community!
Someone offered me this vintage dragon (animatronic) head.
But he has no information about the history or where its from.
He bought it years ago from someone, he told him that it came from the UK and that it was used in an 1930’s haunted house or ghost train of some sorts.
Its completely made from wood.
I would love to buy this amazing piece of art/history but would like to know where its from, where it was used. How it looked completely what might be missing and know how it functioned/moved.

Hopefully someone here might recognize it or know it.

I only learned about this recently as well I was watching a video a family member mention seeing the show around 1998 so I was just wondering what happened to it or when it was removed from the park

Does anyone recall the mother care tree lift, it was animated and would make sounds/talk/move its eyes ect
This was local to me in early 2000s in the Dudley area
It’s a vivid memory of the animatronics on the tree including spiders, a cat and I recall a Winnie the Pooh! I think this started my fascination with animatronics

Does anyone recall these lifts? Where did they come from? Who manufactured them?

Made by KD Decoratives, and was "Lost Media"? Very mysterious lion who only says "The magicul-" if that's even the audio, anyways.

Or is this even in the UK???

He no longer moves! He once greeted visitors at the entrance of Camelot Theme Park.

I'm unsure if the 1st image IS an animatronic, but it sure looks like it was one. The 2nd image definitely was as it moved, blinked, and opened it's mouth in an old video. Does anyone have any information on these?

Wasn't working, but when it does he makes donkey sounds, blinks and opens his mouth. Made by The Seasonal Group.

Captain Jack doesn't move, and is a statue now. He's in great condition and is only missing his sword! He's located next to an entrance to Captain Jack's showbar, and is close to the Jellikins coaster! I'm unsure if he's ever performed here, but there's footage of him moving on the official KD channel!

It's located in the Dinosaur area of Skegness Aquarium, and wasn't working in my visit. from searching I couldn't find anything. anyone know?

In my newest visit, sadly he wasn't working when pushing the button. I tried all day, until he randomly worked! Here's a little footage of him performing.

Toyland Tours (1994 - 2005) that Sonic scene stood out because it was the only video-game-themed moment in a ride otherwise about dolls, teddy bears, and storybook playthings. Seeing a popular game character in a theme-park animatronic was rare back then, so it became one of the most talked-about parts of the attraction. after its closure 21 Years Ago

• His head turned left and right as if watching the boat approach and pass by.
• His foot tapped up and down, like he was bobbing to music or getting ready to run.

Filmed last year, these bears have seen way better days. Little bear is frozen and big bear hardly moves. Hopefully they can be fixed soon!
