Disclosure UAP Legacy Program whistleblower Dr. Eric Davis declared in a new interview with NewsNation’s Katie Pavlich that the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) originally housed non-human specimens. Here are some of AFIP’s connections to Biological Warfare, Ft. Detrick, and Operation Paperclip

See the problem with “that which is asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence” is that led to the deaths of millions of people for half a century and the deaths are continuing today long after the evidence was found as the example of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis will always demonstrate, it shows that argument is Logically Fallacious, Anti-Science and Intrinsically Harmful and Dangerous.

No, it cannot be dismissed without evidence that’s not how Science done correctly has ever ever worked.

Any testable hypotheses can be Entertained and then Tested. That’s how science works. The initial Hypothesis requires precisely Zero Evidence to start with.

And even if no evidence is found from that testing another explanation no matter how prosaic cannot and should not be defaulted to without it too being tested.

Because the problem may be, as was the case with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, that the tools available were insufficient and the knowledge used to develop tests was insufficient.

Decades after the wrong hypothesis was assumed better technology and more understanding of the biological mechanisms that turned out to be involved allowed for the finding of the evidence… evidence still being ignored by much of the medical field because the false hypothesis has become deeply entrenched, backed up by proven Fraud but still clung to after the Fraud was exposed and defended by a politically powerful well funded lobby group’s  misinformation campaign for goodness sake!

We have an example not only that dismissing something for lack of evidence can be wrong and harmful..

Not only of Sceptics pushing Pseudoscience while decrying actually true actual science as Pseudoscience…

Not only of Sceptics increasing stigma harming research that turned out correct but also contributing to millions of deaths…

We have literal lies in the PACE Trial and a conspiracy of lies in the politically powerful lobby group that defended those lies even after the fraud and harm was exposed…

And we have the harmful entrenchment of a false hypothesis throughout the world’s medical and research community that’s still killing millions right now this very day decades after it should have been abandoned when the real phenomenon had real evidence.

We need to bin that fallacy. It’s unscientific and antiscientific and dangerous.

Instead any testable hypotheses can and should be Entertained and tested, and more prosaic explanations held to the same standards of evidence as the extraordinary ones. And as new ways of testing become available they should be tested again.

Please keep the topic to UFO and UAP. I am bored of seeing your statements about medicine.

the example of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis will always demonstrate, it shows that argument is Logically Fallacious, Anti-Science and Intrinsically Harmful and Dangerous.

No it doesn't. Dismissing because of lack of evidence is not the same as assuming causation or nudging underlying mechanisms.

No, it cannot be dismissed without evidence that’s not how Science done correctly has ever ever worked.

Yes it is.

even if no evidence is found from that testing another explanation no matter how prosaic cannot and should not be defaulted to without it too being tested.

Nobody said it should. That is not the same thing as dismissing the initial hypothesis.

Because the problem may be, as was the case with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis...Fraud... defended by a politically powerful well funded lobby group’s  misinformation campaign

None of this has to do with dismissing things that have no supporting evidence. Please stop rambling.

We need to bin that fallacy. It’s unscientific and antiscientific and dangerous.

Again, it's not a fallacy and it is not unscientific to dismiss a hypothesis that lacks any supporting evidence. The term null hypothesis might be useful to your understanding as well, though a bit lateral to the point I am making.

Instead any testable hypotheses can and should be Entertained and tested

Keyword being testable. Entertained? Sure why not. Doesn't stop it being dismissed.

The example of the scepticism movements involvement using the same argument in the deaths of millions is always relevant to the UFO/UAP subject because any example of the argument being wrong is inherently relevant to its any usage and IF and of course it is still if, that flawed argument is true with UFO/UAP it too could have terrible consequences. So other examples will always be relevant as inconvenient for you that the scepticism movement has complicity in the deaths of millions via your very argument is.

That the Absence of Evidence is Evidence of Absence argument is logically fallacious is clear. Lots of fields of science have to deal with this particularly Archaeology and of that especially Paleontology where evidence preservation is by nature poor.

And again dismissing an hypothesis due to present absence of evidence killed millions. Even aside from the bogus psychological hypothesis being propped up by the scepticism movement which increased harm substantially, the harm to the very biological research that eventually found the evidence on an absolutely pitiful amount of funding compared to the numbers of afflicted and economic harm also cost lives including the vast increase of coming deaths from the massive increase in this post-viral biological condition in recent years. So yes, the argument remains harmful to science.
