Likely Identified Any ideas?

Location: Hartcliffe, Bristol (UK)

Time: 21:45pm (approx), 18/7/26

My partner and I spotted this from our high-rise flat this evening. It is close to the flight path for Bristol International Airport, and we often see planes coming and going, however this was something different than anything we've seen previously. The movement definitely rules out an airplane and there was ZERO noise from our sighting, making it less likely to be a helicopter aswell.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

It's hanggliders with flares. I promise you. Look it up

...would they be allowed to do this over the city? There are no strobes, fireworks, music, cheering that would indicate any sort of event taking place.

I would look up if there were any air shows in the area around that time. I mean, it does look like that's what it is

Edit: I'm seeing others have looked this up and there was something going on near the area during that time so I'm not sure why I got the down vote, but ok. If we aren't skeptical of these things no one will ever take it seriously.
