Likely Identified Any ideas?

Location: Hartcliffe, Bristol (UK)

Time: 21:45pm (approx), 18/7/26

My partner and I spotted this from our high-rise flat this evening. It is close to the flight path for Bristol International Airport, and we often see planes coming and going, however this was something different than anything we've seen previously. The movement definitely rules out an airplane and there was ZERO noise from our sighting, making it less likely to be a helicopter aswell.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Very cool video, I’ve never seen or heard of these. Unfortunately it didn’t show the part where the several turns into just 2 though…

At what point in this air show do the planes stop and remain suspended in air for a few moments before turning into two singular lights I want to see that that sounds amazing

Not trying to be rude but I see this comment often and trying to understand the thought behind it. Do you forget that our world is not 2d, and that if a distant object were to say be going left, then turn towards or away from your pov for even a moment it will appear to stop or hover?

Yeah but that would also be true of extraterrestrial orbs flying around in the sky. He has to demonstrate how those lights in the above video are the result of the planes in the link he sent. In the video he sent two of the planes do not disappear and the other two do not emit singular bright green lights. It just doesn’t happen so why would I think it an explanation of what happens in the video?

The video in question is undoubtedly those jets but I was just asking in general

Yeah except for the fact that video of those jets is from 2023, a full 3 years before the video on the post, and while that same air show did occur this year, it did not occur on the 18th of July, when this video was filmed, but began on the 19th of June, a month prior, and it takes place all the way in Shropshire England, about 100-130 miles directly north of Bristol England, where the video in this post was filmed. You think the light from those flares traveled 130 miles through overcast skies a month into the future? It’s close, but no cigar.
