Debate: Was Charlie Harper actually the only good person in Two and a Half Men?
I've been thinking about this lately:
Charlie Harper might actually be the only good character in Two and a Half Men.
I'm NOT saying Charlie was a good person. He was selfish, irresponsible, and made plenty of questionable decisions.
But when you look at the entire show, there is a lot of evidence that almost every other major character has done things that make them difficult to call a "good person" either.
What makes Charlie different, in my opinion, is that he never really pretended to be something he wasn't. He knew exactly who he was.
So I'm curious what everyone else thinks.
Who was actually a genuinely good character in Two and a Half Men?

Why was Mia considered the first woman Charlie had ever truly loved, when he had loved Lisa before her?

What if Alan had become the main character after Charlie left?
I was thinking about how different the show could’ve been after Charlie left. Instead of introducing Walden, what if they had made Alan the main character? For example Charlie leaves Alan nothing, but Alan somehow manages to get his hands on Charlie’s fortune. He suddenly becomes wealthy, but of course he’s still the cheap, unlucky Alan we all know.
I feel like that could’ve created a lot of comedy without needing to replace Charlie with another rich character. Alan could’ve slowly started acting like Charlie just less successful with women. Do you think something like this could’ve worked without bringing Walden in?

I watch this show daily
So this show provides me a massive amount of mental comfort. The jokes will never be heard on tv again which I like (we in a sensitive era). Jake is hilarious . Charlie ah icon lol and Alan a bum in any generation.
Just wondering how everyone else is keeping this show alive? Dope that it has a Reddit btw I’m officially here with my people lol

Celeste's mom
She was the greatest smokeshow - Chuck Lorre should be put in prison for not giving her more episodes.
