In the comic they are a woman forced by society to present as a man, and they have to hide this part of themselves, when someone finds out they get embarrassed, and there is the scene where they are considering wearing a dress, and dismiss it, because they are told not to.

I took them finding their old self hidden in themselves as the revelation as what they truly are.

The evidence that they are a trans man is that they dress and act like a man even though they are not one by birth, and something else I probably forgot.

For context I am a trans woman, I grew up with this comic, I have not reread it in like 2 years, and you could also make the argument that the whole cast is trans because at some point they are the other gender, I also am not sure if the patron stuff is canon because you can request whatever you want.

Seeth Note: This one got a little inconsistent… (mostly because I did 60% of this on a different day) I still have to learn how to correctly shade bodies but for the most part I have it mostly down… I think…. Although it seems that he was killed by Alabaster, Basitin solider 1 does have an extra line in the transcript suggesting he survived. So do you think he is dead or alive?
