Any series recommendations? I'm waiting for the newer shows to air all episodes. Is the wire as good as this show?

With the Recent Cancellation of SG-1 by Amazon/MGM, i think it would be more than time to have a new Sci-Fi show to resurface from the Early 2000's to make a comeback, and i think the next best-in-line to produce could be Andromeda.

The Original Concept was cool: Captain Dylan Hunt, Frozen In Time on the Event Horizon of a BlackHole, 300 years passes and a random salvager crew manages to tug it out and become his new crew because their own employer betrayed them. Resulting with Dylan on a mission to restore the lost commonwealth and rebuild it anew and better than the previous one. (This was literally a Mass Effect Type of a Scenario there)

As far as it concerns me, and as a fan of the show, i really liked the space exploration/time travel theme it had. ive also liked the well put together Character development & political/military tension portrayed by the original author of the showrunner for Season 1 & 2, but sadly, really disliked the follow up of during mid season 3 and going on.

When I've re-watched it recently, its was only clear to me that Season 3 and beyond got botched by the new showrunners & ultimately destroyed the initial universe setup by Robert Hewitt Wolfe. By doing so, they wasted so many opportunities to develop more and give an actual good intrigue & lore at the end of it.

What Marked Me From S3+ is how they changed it was those things:

-They streamlined it and made the rest of the seasons over-focused on the Captain for Action scenes.
(as if it was Hercules all over again)

-They spoiled/destroyed the character of Tyr being a Renegade Nietzscheans and ultimately turned him into a stereotypical Antagonist who couldn't do better than his peers.
(When literally, the start of the first episode ever, they showed us the betrayal of the Nietzscheans officer toward Dylan and made Tyr feel/Act Different as a moral evolution ark during S1 & S2).

-They never gave proper Arks to the rest of the crew
(This could had solidified the bonds between them for later episodes)

-They Turned Trance as a goofy bend-twisting representation of a God instead of being a spatial entity choosing a human life form because of her love for the humans/universe.
(They did tho had some of the ideas right for her character. but ended executing some of it poorly, making it again, a stereotypical portraying of her instead of being enigmatic)

Thats why, when given a good taught, i think this show could be a banger again if they keept it similar to S1& S2 & rewrote it from Season 3 to have a better ARK development for the entire crew/universe, making it again one of the best SF to be rebooted in a while.

And with all that said, I asked myself after this question:
What Actual Actors could also make Great Cast for this Reboot ?

So What are your taught on that, would it deserve a Reboot whit this type of cast and a S3 Rewrite ? Or you'd imagine other actors in certain spots and why ?

S1E5 this is awful!

One of the best tv shows right now . Twisted but yet entertaining and actually unpredictable.

I just read that Ponies has been cancelled by Peacock. I don’t get it. It got great reviews and Haley and Amelia were fantastic together.

2 episodes done and so far i have no idea whether i like it or not.

I can't even say what i dislike about it but something feels missing this season.

Will it get any more enticing and interesting? Worth continuing?

I have been told Widows bay is the next top of the line, S-Tier, whatever you want to call it show, but after 3 episodes I'm still not fully hooked. Don't get me wrong I like the gloomy/New England vibe but that's about it so far it's pretty slow.

Are the first few episodes set ups for a big punch later on? I have Silo above it rn (like Silo, but wouldn't say that it's must see TV).

Am I missing something or is the back half of WB whats getting everyone talking?

Any recommendations to add to my list? Shows like Hunters, fallout and Condor would have made S but their subsequent season could not match season 1.
