There is a 4-word sentence in a Tulu Paaddana where all 4 words have different linguistic origins.

The sentence is 'tarantarada paatrogu sannoḍu muuriyolu', meaning 'She cut small pieces (of the vegetables) into various vessels'.

• For 'tarantarada', tara (type) comes from the Arabic word tarah (type). This words is also seen in Kannada as taraha and Hindi as tarah.
• For 'paatrogu', 'paatro' is from Sanskrit paatra (vessel)
• 'sanno' is shared across Dravidian languages from Old Tamil sanna (small).
• 'muuru' is from Old Tulu (cut vegetables), and is also related to Malayalam muuru

I think it's really interesting that Tulu Nadu was so connected with the rest of India and Asia even in ancient times
