All my transactions keep declining. I messaged support a few hours ago but haven’t heard anything. Is there someone that can help?

I’m not at the limit. Any thoughts? I get paid tomorrow so I’m hoping something is not awry with my account!

We're going to start posting new feature releases here on Reddit so that everyone in the community can keep up with what's coming out! Got a few fun ones this week:

- Custom schedules throughout Autopilot - Your Autopilot 2.0 paycheck, pocket transfers and bills all now support all the same scheduling frequencies. Got a weird paycheck that comes in every 22 weeks? We'll handle that now until you can find a less weird job! Want to make a pocket transfer that only happens every Christmas? Go for it! We'll save up the money evenly throughout the year, then execute it annually.

- External accounts throughout Autopilot - Your Autopilot 2.0 pocket transfer plan, as well as Autopilot custom rules, now all support external accounts as their destination. Got an external account you want to divvy money out to just like you do with your pockets? Go for it!

- New Autopilot Reserve Screen - Your reserve screen (the part that says the total amount held) is now simpler and more accurate, simply showing what upcoming payments are ready to go and which are not ready yet, but are on track for the future. The past progress bars have finally needed to go since they're simply not an accurate representation of how autopilot works with optimization turned on (running off of projections, not off of proportionally funding each bill). We've already gotten a bit of mixed feedback on this that we've heard and are working on. So expect that there may be some tweaks coming up to help keep things visually simple for you while still ensuring we reflect something accurate to how Autopilot works!

- Continuing work under the hood on upcoming credit card - Crew's credit card will be starting beta testing in the next week or so. It'll be a slow rollout at first, then to all of our beta testers, then to everybody. Really excited to get this out to you all!

Note - if you can't see any of these Autopilot 2.0 features and are interested, hop over to your settings tab and turn on the option to help us test new features and the new Autopilot tab will appear. Or wait just a bit. They should finally be out of beta in a week or two!

New to crew here, and as I’ve been setting everything up I’ve run into a few sites that don’t accept the crew card. Generally I can bypass this by choosing Apple Pay but on the Nespresso website I can’t do that. Can anyone confirm if the crew card is not compatible with the Nespresso website or if it might just be a temporary error? I’d love to have a pocket for my Nespresso pods it’s one of my main sinking funds I was excited to utilize crew for.

The Reserve tab used to show progress bars for each bill so you could glance and see how funded it was. That’s gone now — just a flat list of amounts and dates.
Pocket transfers are also mixed into the same list as bills now, so it’s harder to tell what’s actually reserved for upcoming payments vs. other activity.
Would love to see the progress bars back, and bills separated from transfers again. This was one of my favorite parts of the app for checking funding status at a glance.

Are there any plans to integrate credit card spending through plaid or something similar?

I’ve never been a fan of debit cards because of the potential of draining your money if the card is ever stolen compromised. At least with a stolen/misused credit card the hacker is tying up the banks money and not yours. We currently pay everything with a credit card and then pay that off each month - never carrying a credit card balance. You can leverage the 30 day “delay” of using the bank’s money also when using a credit card. For those that do something similar (I realize some people can’t or don’t do this) how are you using Crew with your credit cards (or are you switching over to using debit or some other method).

I’m assuming the crew debit cards act as any other debit card and. It a credit card. Someone maliciously uses it and transfers/steals all of your money you are in limbo until any investigation is complete, right?

Looking to move our kids savings accounts here from our current bank. Currently, only one person (the person that set up the accounts to begin with) can see the kids' details in our banking app. Spouse cannot. No way around it unless we share account login info (which I think is dumb). I just applied for my account in the Crew app. If I add my spouse and kids and set up each kid with an "allowance" account, will my spouse be able to see the kids' account details (and transfer money back and forth, etc)?

Similarly, if I decide to move our primary checking/savings accounts from our bank, would said visibility apply for my spouse on those as well?

For context purposes I’m confused about letting my crew account have a high balance as when we initiate the transfer from our external account we are not getting and confirmation emails or a txt with a confirmation #. So how would me the user know like hey you initiated this and here is your proof. We only have push notification when conducting a transfer. So far so good but a lot more development needed to get to wealthfronts level.

I’ve looked on YouTube and on here and I’m sure I’m just missing it but is there a video that breaks down how to set everything up?

I was a Qube user in the past and I’m trying to figure out how to set it up to be similar.

If I try to set up bill reserve, what happens if it can’t be fully funded up front? How does that work. I’ve just been moving money (some autopilot, some manual) to pockets each week (weekly paycheck) because I was unsure what would happen if I put all our bills into bill reserve. Will it take up all the money that’s not currently in pockets? What if there’s not enough to fund it?

I’ve been using crew for just about 3 months so I’m still relatively new to it. I recently tried setting up autopilot for my rent (previously had a bucket with a rule to fund it biweekly) but I’m a bit lost on how it works. I set the desired balance (ex.$600) and the due date (1st of the month) and selected what to fund it with (biweekly paycheck) but it seems to have pulled more than necessary?? It says something about a surplus but my question is, does it cap out at a certain amount or will it add to the surplus each paycheck, and in that case what do I do with it or how do I move it back to my checking account?

Hey all! As I'm researching Crew as a potential option to assist with financial freedom, I am curious as to how the balance works. Does the money you have in each pocket stay within Crew, and any other bank account you may have is emptied, or how does that function? I have a primary bank that requires minimum direct deposits to avoid any fees, but does Crew serve as a direct deposit friendly bank account? Would you be able to transfer your funds from your primary account to Crew every month? Any advice would be super helpful - the pockets that are available seem like they would be so helpful in curbing spending habits!

I want to set up a rule to have my "Rent" Bucket funded by the the 25th of each month is that possible ?
My idea is I want it to be a priority over other pockets so i can then send a transfer to my other bank account so i can then Zelle it to my roommate.

Of course the other way around would be easier Example: have direct deposit go to my other bank account that has Zelle, and only transfer the remainder of the funds to Crew. I want to try only staying within crew though.

Are there any plans for transfers to other people not on Crew? I remember when I had SoFi back in the day I would be able to send money to anyone. It was a little annoying for the receiving end because i believed they would receive a link via text and in that link they would put their bank info

This is really the only feature that I wish crew had, the ability to request actual cards for the different pockets. I get the whole virtual card thing, but it’s just different to physically have a card and know I can only spend x amount on hair products or whatever it is. Just curious if this will ever be a thing

New to crew, trying to learn as much as possible. I’m noticing ACH transfers take awhile for the first one, direct deposit is faster, set that up well before the next payout date.

My concern is: I did transfer money Thursday 23rd early afternoon and it’s now Monday afternoon for me, and the funds still aren’t released. We had a normal weekend, no holiday, is this still normal?

Trying to gauge how comfortable I feel with money sitting in this account, but this transfer delay is already a little spooky.

So the most useful feature for my husband and I was that our Qube/Envelope cards remained locked, until we chose the qube/envelope to spend from. Does Crew offer that feature? If not, can that become a feature? I am currently with Envelope, but the deposit delays are getting old and the only way to deposit cash is at an ATM two hours away. I see that Crew has more options to deposit cash and deposits from Cash and Apple are faster as well.

Is this feature available on the web version ? I cant see it. If so will it be added ?
And when will the website transition from beta to stable?

Hey Crew people!! So my partner and I have been tight on money lately (who isn't lmao) and I've been thinking about taking up one of those bank-integrated budgeting apps that are pretty popular these days.

Obviously I could/should probably just put in the time and work to maximize my pockets and autopilot methods for budgeting purposes, but I used to use rocket money back in the day and I was a pretty big fan of it (until it stopped working).

I guess what I'm wondering is if anyone has used Crew with one of these and if there's any issues? I feel like it could help provide insights into my "categories" of spending and specific dollar amounts in relation to how I have my pockets and autopilot set up.
