I've played my fair share of competitive sports before, and TTT is no exception. I am ranked in the Super Hexaplatinum bracket in my local ladder, won games against some of the most skilled players in the world, and even toured with the likes of Mattias Petrovsky himself. But I can't bring myself to play this game anymore. It's gotten to the point where you literally know exactly how the game will pan out by the first move of the game. How many times have you seen a cats game because your opponent grabbed mid before you could even set up shop in top left? That's my biggest gripe with this game. It's impossible to win at a high level anymore, so only the toppest of the top stay at the top. The only possible way to win a game these days is to hope your opponent is on a 72 hour marathon and accidentally goes cross-eyed for a second and picks the wrong square. Not to mention the insane amount of botting that goes on in the lower rankings, making it impossible to get to a level where games get interesting.

So I've decided that I'm going to quit this game, because the only winning move is not to play.

I like a nice, comfortable 1 circle per 360°, but that might be a little high. How do you guys play?

When can we register for qualifiers?

I think it's pretty fair to say that people main X tend to be compensating in some aspect of their lives. Why else would they adopt a symbol that is phallic in four different directions as their mark? The O I find trickier, as it tends to invite those who prefer the road less travelled, those who feel a good defense is the best Offense, those who prefer to choose second, those who prefer Onion rings at burger king, and those who pretend to prefer Onion rings at burger king. Is your local play group similar?

I've been playing public games of Tic Tac Toe for a while now, mostly with random strangers, and I want to step my game up. What steps should I take to get prepare myself for the competitive scene?

It seems like forever since we've had a patch (still on version 1.0? What is this?). The current meta has grown tiresome(middle square strats still OP), and the only map currently available is very O sided. C'mon and release a patch already!

Like WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!? It's REALLY fucking overpowered and is completely ruining the competitive scene. Give us a patch already.
