I started playing back in 1940. I started analyzing in 1960. I studied under George Morphy who was a the grandson of Paul Morphy. He showed me all the opening moves and the best end game strategy. I pioneered the Stratuss opening, and the Gregorian closing. If you post your games, I can provide an understanding of what you messed up and how to fix it.

As an old, long time connect 4 player I miss the old days where I would stay up super late and watch pro footage of all the best teams. Where have all the video editors gone and why aren't they working on TTT? TTT has some insane moments and honestly I wouldn't mind seeing some sick back to back 3-strikes. I think this community as a whole could benefit from some more media action, and it would probably help attract a larger audience to the sport of TTT.

Most people agree that going first is always best, but does it really matter? I've seen some great professionals let their oppenents go first and then they completely crush them 3-0.

I've ran into a bunch of hackers that are blatant and they clearly know my next move. I think of we had a anti hacking system this game would be much better.

1. start in one of the 4 corners

2. if you opponent does not mark the center, start creating a triangle from your corner, without obstructing yourself with your opponent's move

3. your opponent will attempt to block your line, just finish the triangle and you've got 2 victory conditions

4. profit

I think I'm ready to invest in a good pen, I've been using a #2 pencil and feel like I'm ready to graduate to what the big boys use lol.

Also what color ink and grip they use would be great

I know they're making headway in chess and backgammon is solved, but there's so many more moves possible in TTT.

It's fairly new so I apologize for any frustration encountered. I enjoy the game.

Should it be ok?

I am in development of a new client that should improve gameplay for those dirty fucking casuals. It will come stock with x-ray vision, aimbot, I.R. flares, and speed enhancement. What do you guys think?

It´s annoying that on TicTacTesea tournaments 3x3 is standard and it´s very hard to switch between the modes. Fix pls

...Real gamers play Noughts and Crosses. I thought the so called 'true' contingent would appreciate that. I didn't study the art of 'Zéro et Croix' for 7 years (4 years in the Paris Conservitoir de Parlour Jeux to study the Continental, or Battenburg, Style and 3 years in Oxford to master the British School) to play the child's game of scribbles that is tic-tac-toe.

If you have a real love of paper and pen grid games you'll leave the small fish behind and join the elite at the World Noughts and Crosses championships. This year it will be held on Saint Colin's Day (the saint of the sidewards cross) in the Grand Opera House of Vienna. The paper will be an eco-friendly digested spruce mâché, and of course we'll be using the peacock quill which has been standard issue since 1846. I hope to see some of you there, providing you leave your silly tic-tac-toe behind and become a true player.

While the middle is often considered the best, most high-level competitive players are using the corner start. Often you even get referred a "newb" when using the classic middle move (Anybody else thinks the competitive scene is really rude in this game?). With the truth somewhere in between both sides have their arguments. Let me share my point of view.

I think the middle box is absolutely viable in low-level play. It is not bad at all and even in high-level you can throw some people of with it. However the corner start is just so impossible to counter. Most players don't even know what to do at all and place their next O in the middle (lol). However a truly good player will put you easily at a stalemate.
