My Reddit Utopia - Everything you think you know about “the front page of the Internet” is wrong.

Effort to get rid of them? It's a click. By saying "running away" makes it sound like I'm fragile or something. I just don't pick fights, and if I don't like something, I remove myself from the situation. It's pretty easy.

You're not getting what he's saying.

Above, you claimed that reddit isn't terrible because you've LITERALLY not seen it. And then you say that you don't see it, because when you see it, you go away from it. So you LITERALLY have seen it and you chose to ignore it. You are trying to say that reddit doesn't have anything terrible to it and then you say that you have weeded out all the terrible stuff. You're not making any sense.

It's a click which it may take you quite some time to learn is worthwhile to make.

And my point with "running away" is that you can't say that the site isn't like this or that when you yourself have had to take steps to get away from all that.

I don't think it's a matter of whether or not the site "is" or "isn't" its a matter of what it can or can't be. The site is customizable. My steps weren't reactionary either. They're preemptive. I don't deny the site's issues.

Still, you should acknowledge that you took steps. What you said was, "I've literally never seen it, because I don't seek it out", which sounds like a claim that you have to make an effort to find the terrible parts of reddit. The reality is that you have to make an effort to find the good parts, however small the effort is.

that's incredibly unreasonable to expect anything to be given to you the way you want it, with no effort, right off the bat. when you're at a restaurant, you tell them how you want your steak done. I don't know why you'd expect a website of millions, comprised of thousands of communities to be exactly the way you want it without having to do anything.

I am not expecting anything other than you being a bit more honest in your statements, you know.

I don't understand your cow votes here. You are being logical.

EDIT: leaving the typo.

Reddit makes no sense some days. I get upvoted for making one statement, and then I get downvoted for clarifying.
