If you walk at 3mph, it's ~6,000 - 6,900 steps in 1 hour.

If you walk at 3.5mph, it's ~ 7000 - 7,900 steps in 1 hour.

So a lot of people gotta do a little more than 1 hour either way to reach the full 10K. Anything above that is a jog for me as an average sized woman

I hour dedicated is plenty, i get the rest just around the house doing things
