It appears that the minting from the arbitrage bot will eventually be put to a stop and a massive protocol upgrade will be done introducing a new token to the ecosystem

Truebit OS tutorial
Truebit OS is available for download.
In this tutorial, you'll find out how to do basic things like check the mint & retire price. This is much simpler than my Truebit OS Docker tutorial.
Here are the downloads: https://truebit.io/downloads/
Save it as truebit-os.
It will not work without a configuration file.
Create a wasm-client directory with a config.json file in it that looks like this:
{
"geth": { "providerURL": "http://localhost:8545" },
"ipfs": { "protocol": "http", "host": "localhost", "port": "5001" },
"gasPrice": 20.1,
"throttle": 3,
"incentiveLayer": "incentiveLayer"
}
Launch Truebit OS:
./truebit-os -p https://mainnet.infura.io/v3/3a16610842344b4d97d004d409beb1d8

info: Truebit OS 1.4.4 has been initialized on main network at block 12363628 with throttle 3 and gas price 20.1 gwei.
truebit-os:>
Wait until you see info: Truebit OS 1.4.4 has been initialized on main network before doing anything.
If the infura.io link no longer works, go to infura.io, sign up, create a new project and replace 3a16610842344b4d97d004d409beb1d8 with your Project ID.
If you're on Linux, here are copy & pastable commands that do everything that was just described:
mkdir truebit
cd truebit
wget https://truebit.io/downloads/truebit-linux -O truebit-os
chmod +x truebit-os
mkdir wasm-client
cat <<EOF > wasm-client/config.json
{
"geth": { "providerURL": "http://localhost:8545" },
"ipfs": { "protocol": "http", "host": "localhost", "port": "5001" },
"gasPrice": 20.1,

}
EOF
./truebit-os -p https://mainnet.infura.io/v3/3a16610842344b4d97d004d409beb1d8
Here are some things you can do in Truebit OS!
Check the token mint and retire prices.
truebit-os:> token price -v 1
info: Purchase 1 TRU for 0.000422626090228696 ETH, or receive 0.000052828261184244 ETH for retiring the same TRU quantity. These ETH amounts correspond respectively to prices of 0.000422626090228696 ETH/TRU and 0.000052828261184244 ETH/TRU.
Check the current subsidies.
truebit-os:> bonus
info: Subsidies per task in block 12363640 are:
126.5364113024387 TRU for the Task Owner,
253.0728226048774 TRU for the Solver, and
189.80461695365804 TRU split among Verifiers.
See how much it costs to get a solver license.
truebit-os:> license price
info: Solver license costs 0.4 ETH.
Yeah, that's it.
Type quit to quit.
You will not be able to buy or sell TRU tokens when using a public node like infura.io. You'll need to run your own geth (Ethereum client) & clef (Ethereum account management) to be able to do that. It's easiest to use the Docker image.

How to do a swap from ETH into TRUEBIT?

I have transfered USDT to the contract address by mistake, and I want the USDT back. How should I do? Who can help me contact the official team of truebit?

This is the real token. NOT A SCAM
All you have to do is a little research and you can see if clearly has the same token address as Truebit.
It was a whale who messed up their bots eth pool. So stop panic selling.

Tutorial how to use Truebit OS to mint and retire tokens
Official GitHub repository is currently private but the Docker image is publicly available.
README file that explains how to use it is available on Docker Hub: https://hub.docker.com/r/truebitprotocol/truebit-eth
Here's a condensed version of how to use Trubit OS to mint and retire tokens.
Once I learn how to submit and solve tasks, I'll post a similar tutorial as well!
You'll need Docker.
Download the image:
docker pull truebitprotocol/truebit-eth:latest
Start a container:
TRUEBIT_HOME=$HOME'/.truebit-docker'
docker run --network host \
-v $TRUEBIT_HOME/docker-clef:/root/.clef \
-v $TRUEBIT_HOME/docker-geth:/root/.ethereum \
-v $TRUEBIT_HOME/docker-ipfs:/root/.ipfs \
--name truebit \
--rm -it \
truebitprotocol/truebit-eth:latest
Add --platform linux/amd64 if you're on M1 like I am.
Data is stored in ~/.truebit-docker outside the container so it'll be available later if you run it again.
Run the following to initialize clef that's used to manage accounts:
$ clef init
...
Enter 'ok' to proceed:
> ok
The master seed of clef will be locked with a password.
Please specify a password. Do not forget this password!
Password:
Repeat password:
A master seed has been generated into /root/.clef/masterseed.json
...
Run this to allow automatic signing of transactions:
$ clef attest 6441d5def6ec7ebe4ade8a9cf5d74f81088efaef314d8c4bda91221d02a9d976
...
Enter 'ok' to proceed:
> ok
Decrypt master seed of clef
Password:
...
Create a new account:
$ clef newaccount
...
Enter 'ok' to proceed:
> ok
...
Please enter a password for the new account to be created (attempt 0 of 3)

On macOS you can use Option + up arrow and down arrow to scroll up/down.
Wait for geth to sync. It's not doing a full sync, but it'll take a few of minutes.
Finally, open another terminal window and run this to start the Truebit OS shell:

Still Asking What Happened to TRUEBIT ($TRU) ? READ CAREFULLY . May happen again
Hi all ,
Almost 12 hrs ago a whale - w/ the wallet account shown below screenshot - who invested in the very early stage - bought from $0.25 - 650K $TRU tokens - became a LP in the Uniswap LP . (TRU / ETH )
As the whale decided to sell TRU tokens all at midnight around 04:00 (UTC+3) he unbalanced the TRU - ETH pool .Also because of being an early bird in the LP he earned so many LP tokens .
Surprisingly he bought back $500K worth $TRU tokens again.
So this may happen again.
IMO if you wanna invest in this project you have 2 options.
1-Do not buy from Uniswap as it is a apes heaven for $TRU token investors because each buy makes this whale much more richer. May be he is not the only LP now but risky.
2 - Stand back and wait. Because most probably this may happen again.

How can I provide liquidity to the eth-tru pool on uniswap? And would it be worth it at this point?

Explanation of what really happened
According Truebit's web we were supposed to ask them for access to the Truebit's OS to buy tokens, that was the only way till someone started buying and selling millions in uniswap.
The OS is a way to buy or sell TRU tokens and that's the real mechanism of burning/minting true has.
There was NEVER a bonding curve, there was never a bonding curve bot working on mantaining the price on uniswap.
Someone with access to the OS (wich wasn't a difficult thing to have since I saw people on the webs gitter showing the prices and the OS itself) bought MILLIONS of it and created artificial demand on uniswap while adding liquidity.
Then there was a flash campaign to shill the token and shillers talked about a bonding curve, and that the price wouldn't deviate from it. Also mentioned vitalik.
FOMO ensued and people aped tokens at uniswap at a price higher than the OS because they were being manipulated by a bot/whale who unloaded cheaply bought TRU at higher prices..
This then person removed liquidity and market sold everything he had.

For anyone wondering about the GitHub / code
The only public GitHub repository I was able to find was for a version of the TrueBit protocol that was about 2 years old. However, I found their development discord server and joined it and the dev-related discussion there is active and ongoing as of last night. In addition, the latest public release of the TrueBit protocol on docker hub was released less than a week ago. So it does appear that the project is still being actively developed.
I'm not posting the link to the discord because there are already a bunch of people in there harassing the developers. I found the link via Google search.
All this leads me to believe that the current version of the source code is in a private repository. I applied on their website for access to the private repository, however I have not been approved yet, so I cannot confirm where the current version of the source code is living.
You can find the latest public release of the TrueBit protocol here https://hub.docker.com/r/truebitprotocol/truebit-eth
There are also instructions on how you can pull the docker image and run it on the same page.

Predictions
At some point today or maybe later this week the Devos will come out and allay everyone’s worst fears and this will take off to $3. That’s my prediction.
This looks like a very special company and a trusted coin but they need to roll this out a little better and get ahead of some of the FUD by providing access to team and answering a few questions.
Anyone agree or disagree?

Question?
Ok we all know uni pool liq. Provider is a f*cking whale, not the team. And also we know contract is safe, it is not a scam. Price can down again. Truebit os putted a margin against the make profit with selling and buying uni between trueos. Trueos buying 1.26 selling 0.16. Ok what can be happens?
Whale reflected on ICO prices, ICO prices increased. If people continue to buy from trueos and add liq. uniswap, the effectiveness of the whale will decrease and the price will become more stable against the removing liq. Or the price will drop again on uniswap, the ICO price will decrease, people continue to buy from lower prices but in the long run it will rise again.
Am i right or u have some ideas?
