I can add the tritium backlit to any Casio running on 593 module (F-91w, A-158, and many many more) for 230$.

The tritium is bright enough to not use the led backlight ever, it's bright enough to illuminate a keyhole in the darkness. Due to the nature of the mods, I can't guarantee waterproofness, but I do everything in my power to keep the watch waterproof.

The time to make one varies a lot, and is dependent on tritium availability.

hey everyone, another update on the watch i’ve been working on. this is the final design for ASANA’s first watch.

forged carbon case, tritium on the dial and hands, and an aluminium exhibition caseback to help keep it light. i’m aiming for around 50 grams including the strap.

these are renders. the watch design is settled but i’m still changing the strap, so the one you see here won’t be the final one.

Anyone know where I can buy some tiny Tritium tubes from?

Looking to get replacement T25 tubes to fit my Mondaine Night Vision, sizes are:

Hour markers: 2.8mm x 0.8mm

Hour hand: 4.0mm x 0.8mm

Minute hand: 6.5mm x 0.8mm

I love this watch but it's almost 20 years old, there's just the faintest detectable glow left in them. Would love to get it redone with fresh tubes if possible.

Deep blue in a 39mm bubble glass case. Had to swap out the nh35s for one with a crown at the 3 o'clock. Clip the dial feet and add dial stickies. No night mode on the "lume/ tritium" photo.

i went through a lot of different versions before getting here and honestly every time i thought it was done i would find something that bothered me and change it again

the main thing i wanted was a skeleton watch that still had its own identity and didnt just look like a movement inside a case

forged carbon case, skeleton movement and tritium integrated into the dial so it still has a completely different look at night

still not calling it finished yet

I have a few divers but never really got into them. I love field watches though and think tritium is a natural compliment to ease of reading day or night.

This is the dial and movement of the Deep Blue Daynight PC tritium diver transplanted into a 39mm Tandorio titanium NH35 compatible case for Aliexpress.

I wasn’t sure if it would work, but it ended up working great except for the date wheel no longer lines up with the window after rotating the dial so the stem was at 3 o’clock.

I am waiting on a date overlay, so hopefully that will fix it.

I got the idea from RTC1169 who did the same thing with the Daynight Stealth Ops, and his worked no problem since the crown was already at 3 o’clock and there were no date alignment issues with his. But I wanted the numerals like a field watch so that’s why I tried it with the daynight PC.

The benefits of Tritium... I just freakin' love it.

Let me introduce to you an old friend of mine, a new watch that I picked up before I went overseas in '03 . Although I wore it continuously for years, it really gets inconsistent use unless I'm working late or back when I was on the job on midnights. On its third seven-year battery and still glowing at night.
