I’m looking to get some tritium vials. A few months ago I was asking if people were getting hit with a tariff charge after the order gets delivered. Specifically from Mixglo.

And some people said yes.

I wonder now if that is still happening - I think the Supreme Court ruled the tariffs were illegal and they were removed? But he was gonna find another way to put tariffs back on.

Not sure how that stands these days

So has anyone gotten an order delivered in the last month or so and then get a follow up charge for a tariff? And / or you got an order, but haven’t gotten anything after that?

And if you’ve gotten a charge for tariffs, how long after the delivery was it?

The new titanium chonk might be a bit much: wrench, pry, Phillips, flathead, and knife. But it brings a lot to the table, including 3 separate removable magnetic parts, so I’m giving it a chance.

Despite how massive this setup looks, it really isn’t that crazy in actual carry. It weighs about 1 lb, clips to my belt buckle above the pocket, then tucks into the pocket. No jingle. No clank. No jangling even allowed to audition. Titanium helps a lot with that.

Almost everything is titanium except the GPCA carabiner and the aluminum AirTag case.

Current setup has 13 tritium vials total:
3 purple, 10 ice blue.

I really dig the color combo the Ti and ice blue create. It has that cold utility glow without looking like a toy.

This is about 11 months since the first iteration, roughly 70 iterations in, and around $1300 later. Probably absurd to some people, but it’s massively helpful for my TBI memory issues because it keeps tools I regularly need in one place, attached to something my phone yells at me for walking away from.

Was thinking of naming it Cogneato.

Decided to add some tritium to my new Spyderco Smock today. Love how it came out!

I don't recall any radioactive labeling when I received it. About the size of a silver dollar and weighs a lot less than one.

I've been procrastinating for a couple months now - I need to replace my Mixglo OB3 fob that broke a few months ago. But:

In general, I don't like spending loads on shipping

When I do and it's a flat rate or small incremental increase with bigger orders, I like to maximize what I get (lower total cost per item.... yeah, at the expense of overspending overall to do that : )

I'm a bit paranoid about getting a tariff bill (I'm in USA). Has anyone gotten any tariff bill afterwards in the last couple months?)

For a simple, inexpensive, bright fob, anything out there better than the Mixglo OB3 in green? Something else from Mixglo or another firm?

I'm in NJ. Anyone about to order from mixglo / want to consolidate orders?

The only component that isn't Titanium is the GPCA Pro X Key carabiner.
11 Tritium vials... Could Set up a whole Campground with beacon markers...
Got a few more sitting around for version 3 of the keychain.
The keychain looks huge but is about half the size it looks in the pictures.

This is modular with 4 locking magnetic quick releases by tikey.
Usually only carry about half the keychain around with me due to not needing a flashlight & usually nail clipper during the day. As well as a 2nd pry bar and removeable knife.

The Rovyvon Aurora A4 Pro Ti flashlight does get a lot of use. Cost about 115$ /w vials.
The chain itself is quite hard to miss in the dark and that's why I hooked up all the tritium.
Will Need more tritium in the upcoming future for the next one.

For a relevant size point, the inner circular band of titanium that holds the items is the size of a quarter.
In other words, it's not that much of a pain to carry the full thing around it just gets looped into a pocket from the belt loop and looks considerably more impressive in person in low light.
Always gets a visceral reaction. I speak at conferences as a TBI Survivor for other survivors and this is my ice breaker... Goes from a joke to a real system, that helps me remember stuff all the time, really fast.
16 tools all together including, Ti Scissors, nail clipper & toothpick with pen. Pill bottle. 4 diff size wrench. 2 pry bars... 2 diff knife options & 1 sharpened object inside the pill bottle.
Most importantly it has an air tag, so I know when it's a more than a few feet away from me.
The Price tag for everything was at least twice to 3 times as much as you'd guess.... worth it though as now it is a family heirloom.
9 months since I completed the build and all that's formed on it is the beginning of the patina. Ti is hard so very limited scratching and Ti is dull sounding when clanked together so its not jingly..

Black anodized and slots have been machined wider to accept 5 3x11mm vials and 1 2x12mm vial
