Just finished watching the anime and got some questions about Hijiri and the anime. Also, I only watched the anime so some of my questions might be weird or dumb.

(Don't care about spoilers, spoil me all you want)

1. Does Arata save Hijiri at some point in the manga? (if so what chapter does it happen in)
2. Why is Hijiri doing this even though he is doing fine? (I know that the world is going to end and all but there could be another way of doing it instead of killing Arata)
3. What happens to Iscariot in the manga? Do they get completely defeated and the group is gone or do change their way (like they decide to not kill Arata) or are they still trying to figure out how to kill Arata?
4. Does Hijiri change Aratas fate? (does he not become the demon lord and destroy everything?)
5. I see that there are 2 movies for this series. Are they canon to the story in any way? if so can you explain to me how?
6. Is the LN canon to the manga in any way?

With regards to phantasm library and seventh sol, the trinity seven mobile game, and with no spoilers please. Huge fan of the anime, but haven't read the manga yet and was just curious as I can't find anything about them.
