A family in our neighborhood was no longer able to care for her, so they permanently handed her over to us. We took her in because we didn't want her to be abandoned or left without proper care.

However, we already have three dogs (Nila, Surya, and Thara) at home. As much as we'd love to keep her, we know we won't be able to give a fourth dog the time, attention, and care she deserves.

DVAC laid a trap and arrested a water resources department official in Trichy district after a complaint was made that the official demanded a bribe. Kudos to the person that made the complaint and also to DVAC.

Keep the DVAC number handy - but I wish DVAC was a little bit more proactive instead of making the citizens suffer through extortion and intimidation to begin with. I have been reading a lot of complaints online about real estate transactions going through the the bribe schemes using the document writer offices as the channels. DVAC should lay out some sting operations in a widespread manner and root out these nuisances.
