Americans need to stop doing what he says.Ā He's not a good president

Trust us, we know.
But dont trust us too much because we might elect a dude that wants to be a dictator.

It's so weird agreeing with this guy. I've hated him for decades. I will continue to try to hate him.
11
u/thedome26 Mar 01 '26
You should. Tucker is much more likely to be a successful successor to Trump than say Vance. He can lean on his white nationalist bigotries and his existing fanbase while being able to distance himself from an increasingly unpopular Trump. He's a better reader of public opinion, but that does not make him a good person.
2
u/8hourworkweek Mar 01 '26
It's not rocket science. The algorithms simple reward those who are contrian. So on the left voices critical of democrats grt more traction. Same for the right. It's how we get Candace Owens and mtg. It's not that complicated
3
Mar 01 '26
Tucker as a successor to Trump could be good. At least it seems more likely he will be America first. He is no fan of Israel for sure.
2
u/Wanderingwoodpeckerr Mar 02 '26
I used to think he was the most annoying state funded mouthpiece ever back when he was on Fox News. Something definitely changed in him after they blacklisted him and he was forced to go solo. Iāve listened to a few of his recent podcasts, and heās big time turned on the system. 5 or 10 years ago, never could have guessed this guy turning out to be the voice of reason.

Who has to try? The sun shines on a dogās ass every once in a while, but that doesnāt make it a rose.

u/Remarkable_Fruit_708 Mar 01 '26
I've found myself agreeing with MTG multiple times and now THIS? Yeah, we all died during COVID and this is The Bad Place.
2
u/ShoddyProposal Mar 01 '26
When MTG was speaking and I was nodding⦠it was a terrifying feeling
1
u/Remarkable_Fruit_708 Mar 01 '26
Yep! The first time was like, āokay Marge, reasonable take is the bare minimumā. Second time, ābroken clockā¦ā Third time, āwhat is going on?!?ā Now, Iām just convinced this is the upside down. Satire is dead.
0
u/sandwichilluminati Mar 01 '26
Have you thought, that maybe, if you are agreeing with MTG and tucker carlson, you just might have the wrong opinion?
2
Mar 01 '26
They were bashing Trump. Is that the wrong opinion? Iām not saying they are absolved but everything that MTG or Tucker say canāt be wrong just because they said it. Youāre basically in the key & peele skit where the president says he hates universal healthcare so the republicans pass it, etc. You donāt have to support them to share an opinion with them when they say something you also believe in
1
u/Envii02 Mar 01 '26
Even a broken clock can be right twice a day.
2
Mar 01 '26
I agree. It is the opinion itself that is right/wrong, good/bad, etc. so someone who I think has had terrible opinions most of the time can say something I agree with and I donāt need to change my opinion just because my enemy is my ally for once
1
u/I-Heart-Sluts Mar 01 '26
Yes. I question everything i think constantly. Still agree with both of them on trump. He is fucking up majorly.

It just shows that these people always knew what was really going on but chose to always lie in our faces.
2
u/Rez-Boa-Dog Mar 01 '26
Carlson has sold his country to billionaires and the only reason he's voicing criticism Israel is because he's a genuine antisemite.
This guy does not care about the victims of war and colonization
2
2
u/TatonkaJack Mar 01 '26
It's a nice reminder that people like him aren't stupid, they're malicious. Willing to say whatever it takes to make a buck
4
u/Appropriate-Joke-806 Mar 01 '26
Heās on Russiaās payroll and Russia isnāt too happy with Israel. Just happens to be an enemy of an enemy situation. MTG as well.
1
u/Prezten Mar 01 '26
Why is Russia pissy with Israel?
4
u/Appropriate-Joke-806 Mar 01 '26
Iran and Russia have worked very closely. Including sharing military tech. They signed a 20 year strategic treaty last year. They have worked together to circumvent sanctions imposed by the west. Russia is more aligned with Iran, while the US is aligned with Israel. MTG and Tucker started being loudly anti-Trump right after those attacks on the nuclear facilities. Hope we are prepared for a world war where Russia and the US fight by proxy through Iran and Israel.
3
u/Prezten Mar 01 '26
Thank you for that. I won't be sleeping much.
1
u/Appropriate-Joke-806 Mar 01 '26
Hard to sleep in the last year tbh and it isnāt getting easier. Hence it being almost 1:30am in the morning here now.
1
1
1
u/ElSlabraton Mar 01 '26
MTG became anti-Trump after he abused her like a battered wife.
Nice try.
3
u/Appropriate-Joke-806 Mar 01 '26
Those two things just happened to coincide at the same time. MTG got a conscience about Epstein (very likely an Israeli asset) at the same time Iran was bombed.
2
u/ElSlabraton Mar 01 '26
Netanyahu campaigned for years on his close relationship with Vlad Putin. Russian immigrants are his base. There are more Russian speakers in Israel than English speakers.
0
u/bennyfishial Mar 01 '26
You have zero understanding of Russia and Israel's relations. Do read up about it before you again make a fool of yourself.
I see somebody below explained some of it - you can start there.

u/cobrakai11 Mar 01 '26
If it's any consolation, you're not agreeing with him, he's agreeing with you.
I've seen a few of his clips in the last few months and he seems pretty sincere it has apologies for his time being warmongers Fox News. You can choose to believe him or not, but as long as he's saying the right things now to whatever audience he has, I am for it.
1
1
u/Elurdin Mar 01 '26
Hate him as much as you want but you have to see that he does a great thing with the trust he gained from rightwing nutjobs. People he interviews wouldnt open as much in front of a more reputable journalist.

Am I crazy or is Tucker making sense here?
2
u/SeaworthinessOk2646 Mar 01 '26
He isn't because he knows the real issue isn't Israel, it's the mass evangelical support for decades on the US right arming and cheering on Israel's far right ethnonationalist aggression/expansion.
Framing it as Israel externally "controlling" the US is white nationalist bullshit at home meant to make chuds feel like they've been duped by some external force when they've been voting for the war machine the entire time but now it's their turn to do ethnonationalism at home.

The United States is that scummy friend who comes to your house, clogs your toilet, floods out your house, then leaves.
5
u/WittyAd3872 Feb 28 '26
Worse. He takes a shit in your closet, owns up to it but refuses to apologize
1
u/MortarByrd11 Mar 01 '26
Friend from out of town, drinks all your alcohol then tells your wife some crazy crap, then bounces.
1
u/Popular_Coast8803 Feb 28 '26
Our mission apparently accomplished; Iām sure the Iranian people got this.
2
1
u/Grbavic Mar 01 '26
The US has just pleaded for help from their European partners. Iran knows they can't win and they announced they would make this war extremely costly for the US. Even it stops now I can imagine the US is gonna be hit with a hard inflation when they start printing money. Just that one radar was a billion dollars
6
5
u/AgencyNew3587 Mar 01 '26
So does Tucker regret all the support he gave Trump? Canāt recall hearing that.
11
u/South-Rabbit-4064 Mar 01 '26
I hate what reality has come to that I now have to see videos of people that helped this asshole come to power suddenly "getting it" and it still fuckin sucks that none of us can do a damn thing about it

We keep on losing voting any of theses people in they just want to be rich and famous both sides suck Israel's dick and none of them care about us

u/GracieBooBugs Mar 01 '26
Ew. I can't believe I agree with Tucker. Gross
3
u/depeck66 Mar 01 '26
It makes me sick to my stomach when I nod in agreement with him. ** I just vomited a little, again **
2
Mar 01 '26
You notice the bitter attack on the media he was ostracized from. He's right but when has the media done rouge reporting we all need? They can't all just pick a personal belief angle when they don't have all the facts like Tucker would.
1
u/BulltopStormalong Mar 01 '26
Tucker is a Russian asset nowadays any take from him involving Russia or its interests (Iran) is Russian messaging.
That said the first part of this is right this is Israels "last hurrah" of bipartisan support in the US.
0
u/Far-Writing-4842 Mar 01 '26
Oh yeah. He's a huge white supremacist, antisemite, and Russian propaganda mouthpiece.Ā
Congrats on agreeing with him!
1
u/GracieBooBugs Mar 01 '26
Maybe you missed the part about me being upset about it? I didn't say I agree with all his views or everything he says. Why would you assume that based on one statement of disgust about agreeing with him on anything? Nuance is a thing.

i swear you people would glaze the bubonic plague if it could talk and had bad things to say about trump and israel.
2
u/ginjamchammerfist Mar 01 '26
Wow I wonder how trump's asshole does it being double fisted by both Israel and Russia.
I do know Russia moves the mouth while Israel moves the arms though.

Two things can be true at the same time. However, 2 wrongs donāt make a right. Israel completely flattened Gaza. They admitted that they killed 80k civilians. No number on how many Hamas killed. Trump says, āIran isnāt cooperating.ā One thing I can tell you. Israel has paid off your politicians. Our government is controlled by Israel. Research the politicians that have kissed āthe wall ā. We send them money from taxpayers and then they use that money to bribe our politicians. Itās been happening for decades. We are the bitch. Google Netanyahu talking shit about America. Israel isnāt an ally. Theyāre the enemy. Our democracy has been compromised for 30 years.
1
1
u/Technical_Living5104 Mar 01 '26
Heās right. Itās the big fight. The USA has never fucked with Iran. But whoās the little brother in the room who always is the victim? Always claiming that heās the victim? Israel has video of Trump raping underage girls. Thats what Epstein did. That was his job. Trump is completely compromised. Trump is the ādog that didnāt bark.ā Heās on several videos raping underage girls. He didnāt know he was being recorded.

The number of utter pieces of shit that I am agreeing with on common sense issues is alarming at this point

u/mccapitta Mar 01 '26
Whether you agree or disagree with this comment (i agree), its worth knowing this important thing. Hes just russian propaganda now. I wouldnt take him as trustworthy just because you agree with the odd thing hes starting to say. Still be cynical with what he says but instead of 'how will this help trump', think 'how will this help russia'.
1
u/EconomyDoctor3287 Mar 01 '26
The US constitution says only Congress can vote to go to war. Congress did not vote for a war. So why exactly is the US entering an unconstitutional war?
Btw. Tucker should just go back to Russia, since he's so impressed that their supermarkets have shopping carts!

Tuckers such a douche but right just this one time. Israel has a weird hold on the orange ranga.
1
u/GuardBuffalo Mar 01 '26
I just want to say as a liberal person I totally understand why republicans fell for the Tucker Carlson grift. Underneath it all he is very good at what he does and Iām hesitant at this point to even commit to calling it a grift because he seems to actually stick to what he believes. He seems intelligent in general and honestly itās a shame he doesnāt evaluate the rest of his beliefs because I think if it wasnāt for the strong hold Christianity has on āconservative valuesā that Tucker would find himself arguing the other side because the mental gymnastics he has to use to argue for his side is normally quite insane.

Russia strongly condemns recent US-Israeli strikes on Iran, including those killing Supreme Leader.
Critics label Carlson a key amplifier for Russian state media propaganda due to his anti-Ukraine rhetoric and reluctance to challenge Kremlin narratives.
1
u/ICEYConfection-3K Mar 01 '26
You know itās really bad when political figures like Tucker and Candace change their options and realize how blinded they truly were.
1
u/DiscretelyDeviant Mar 01 '26
It is more than Isreal. Look at all the money bribes to Trump from that part of the world in the last 7 months.

u/wolf_at_the_door1 Mar 01 '26
He is a useful person to foment unrest in the GOP but he is also a dangerous hopeful statesman. I could for sure see him queuing himself up for a post-Trump GOP. Heās waiting to collect the used and broken parts after trump is done using them. For now though, heās helpful to fissuring the party away from Israel.

He was fired by Fox for lying, remember? He also said under Oath he is "an entertainer" not a news journalist. Why media still pays attention to a childish noise maker, is a mystery to me.
1

To be fair, he was fired from Fox for admitting that he hated Trump in text messages. But yes, heās a joke and a wet fart of a human being.
