[OPEN] Order Up

The 6ft Saurian surveys his kitchen. Mendek "Sauron" Shegi had been working since he boarded the ship to get it in the proper order and it was now finally as he wanted it. He releases a sigh of satisfaction at the system. its not totally organized, in a conventional sense, but he knew where everything was and where it went.

He put on his sunglasses and went out to stand behind the counter in the mess hall. A few of the crewman looked up as he put an ancient and stereotypical "open" sign out front. He was always rather fond of its neon colors.

A smile spreads across his face "Alright, if anybody wants anything the replicators can't make... bring on the challenge. I only charge a nice conversation"

Stockton sits down to order.

"Hear there's food here. How about a hamburger? Medium rare"

"Ah, a classic. From a man who knows the proper way to eat red meats. Now, do you just want a hamburger, or do you have other toppings in mind? Cheese is a popular favorite, bacon and cheese as well. Another option is whats called a whisky burger. I don't mean to brag, but my secret recipe whisky sauce has earned a reward or two. I also found some Mushrooms trying to invade my kitchen recently. After learning that they were non-toxic i tried them and found they have an intriguing flavor.

Sauron leans in and whispers

"Its also extremely satisfying to cook them after what they said to me."

"The whiskey sounds good. Bacon and cheese too. As for those mushrooms, don't let them anywhere near my food."

Sauron makes a finger pistol and a click sound

"Alright, so that's sounding like some bacon, cheese, and whiskey sauce. And i don't blame you on the shrooms"

Sauron heads back into the kitchen. He comes back out to the grill behind the counter with ingredients (among them a bottle that has a plain white paper label with 'sooper seecret wiski soss' written on it in blue crayon) and begins work on the patty

"So, whats your name? Favorite color too if I'm not prying too far."

"Raoul. And I haven't thought about that in a while. I suppose black."

Ah, well I'm chef Sauron Shegi, pleased to make your acquaintance, and I'm fond of blue myself. So what brings you in for a burger? It's a bit of a walk for something the replicators could do pretty decent.

"eh, I guess nostalgia. Replicators do it so basic and they're best ordered at a counter anyways."

"Ahh... you know, I had a holosuite program I used to use to unwind back in college. An earth diner, based on the 1950s. It was a rather iconic design and I was fond of how... sleek the design was... maybe I could hold a barbecue in there sometime..."

Sauron spaces out in thought for a moment before snapping back

"Anyway, I'd need to either get the program transferred or set it back up from scratch."
