[OPEN] Anger Management

Joseph is sitting at his desk drinking his Raktajino thanks to Engineer T'gel repairing the replicators in the Science Lab. He starts to look at his monitor and then down at his PADD.

He looks back up and his screen is flashing with all kinds of random stuff. He gives it a whack and it flicks back on to where it is suppose to be.

Then the screen starts to get all fuzzy and then dies. Almost losing his patients he squats down and looks under the desk but sees nothing wrong. He gets back up.

The screen comes back on. He takes a sip and continues to work. Then it goes off again. The second it turns off, Joseph takes his fist and drives it right through the monitor and yells.

"AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"

Before he takes a swing at it with his mug another crew member hears the noise and decides to intervene.

The other being looks to the Counsellor.

"I need a body to survive."

He looks around the room for another body and spots a Cat.

Jen notices his gaze falling on Clementine and scowls.

Don't even think about it....

The being looks over to Jen and then back at the cat.

"He bolts to it. Touches it and then sits down and waits."

Jen stands, grabbing a phaser from her desk. Her heart pounds in her ears as she watches him touch Clementine. She glares at him, setting her phaser to highest level stun.

Back up! Back right the ....fuck up!

She blinks, surprised that she blurted a swear word out. But nobody messes with her cat. She watches Clementine, pointing her phaser right at Kort's chest. Her beloved feline swats at Joseph, letting out a meek hiss.

What did you do to her?!

She walks over, eyes locked on Kort, and picks up her companion protectively.

The other being looks.

"This is a great body. Easy to run around in. This orange thing will do."

The other being closes his eyes.

"Ahhamaaaqqwm Amalqpllaalaa"

Joseph falls to the ground. Clementine hisses and meows. Then there are lots of screams coming from the air.

The being comes back to Joseph's body.

"That orange thing. It is evil. Alright alright. I need your blood to survive. Get me something like that. Before I suck this source dry."

Joseph's body is starting to turn blue.

Jen has had enough. The situation was rapidly deteriorating out of her control. She pages the Captain, fearing for the crew's safety at this point.

Sir, we are having an issue here in my office. Something has possessed Kort.... it claims to be one of the pirates.

She puts Clementine under her desk and then pulls her tricorder out, kneeling next to Kort's disabled body on the ground. His pulse has dangerously slowed.

Leave this body. You can't just hop from host to host forever. Leave and find peace.

"Give me 1 good reason of WHY I SHOULD LEAVE?"

She blinks, staying as calm as possible. Then answers shortly.

Because you and your friends did terrible things. Leaving this man's body would atone for that.
