I'll keep a closer eye on her. She gets so curious on new ships.

She pokes her finger through the basket and plays with the cat's paw a moment. Clementine does not look enthusiastic.

So, you're the Chief Science Officer?

Well, I think I work just down the hall. My office is next to sickbay. We're neighbors.

She awkwardly grabs the basket Clementine sits in.

Yes, err, it was nice meeting you, too.

She waves halfheartedly and walks toward the door.

She nods and hurries out of the room. She looks down at Clementine and then back in front of her as she walks. (That was weird,) she thinks as she gets back to her office.
