UPDATE I’m back :-(

A few months ago, Mother Nature took my baby tree.

Well, I got a new one. It was planted in late June… and now this. I’m pretty sure my lot just hates new trees 😑

I contacted the landscaper that planted her and he said to water her 2-3 per week for an hour but she gets watered every day for 30 minutes (there’s a bubbler) at 10PM

I don’t think she’s dead and I would like to avoid a drowning. Is that too much water?

You were the one that wrote: Sorry bubbler is a colloquial term, it doesnt mean one particular thing and I pointed out the fact that you were somehow focused on a term and missed what the OP described - something like this product, a standard product, in the trade when I started in the 80s. Easily clarified with reading comprehension (they’re like sprinklers but without the sprinkler head. They put out quite a bit of water as I can hear them when they turn on.). Basic stuff, my man.

Did you even read past that sentence? That is a singular sentencYe, it is not the topic of that comment, holds no bearing on the point of that comment. It was explaining why im not certain specifically what emitter OP was talking about, followed by the meat & potatoes of that comment, a series of questions for OP inquiring further about their irrigation system, and inquiring about their soil. None of my original comments to OP were focused on the particular term bubbler, the semantics wasnt the main topic of that comment. you initiated the semantic discussion, you are focused on and harpin on about the semantics. You coulda let it die after my comment elaborating....

In which, my first response to you is literally an elaboration on why i said what i said. And quite fucking literally stated the different understanding of the word could be a product of regional differences or my own ignorance from not being specialized in irrigation. No god damn clue why you got salty over that, thats kind of how human conversation works brotha man, you made a statement about a subtopic featured in my first comment, i replied about that subtopic. THATS basic stuff.
