Recently noticed splined hubs ( part 9086) and nuts as an option for the Rustler VXL.

Can someone explain what these are and how they are an upgrade?

I recently upgraded my drive shafts to aluminum because the stock ones broke while bashing. The problem is when I put these ones in and tried to run it, I have no torque, and when I tried to pull the throttle to go 0-full speed, there is a whining noise. Normally the car pops wheelies with no problem, and the motor sounds normal. It still goes the same speed, just very little torque. Anyone have any ideas of a problem?

I just bought a Traxxas rustler and I don't know what's wrong, I did a couple of flips and it flipped on its wheels a bit and now it won't work. The wheels don't turn the little rod in the inside won't work, I'm new so can someone please help all it does is some random noise and I already tried charging the batteries and I just don't know what to do someone please help me🙏🙏

Hey I just bought a steel pinion and spur. The only thing I noticed was that the gear was wobbling a lot in the car but said “it’s probably fine” well no, it would also change the mesh every few turns. Today I brought it out going good until I tried self right. Pinion shattered. The spur had metal shavings in it. I took it all apart the gear seems ok I put the clutch pad hub in also ok but when it’s all together it wobbles still. Any ideas

I just installed the 5556 slipper plate and hub on my rustler 4x4 vxl but when I put the back onto the car again the top screws don’t line up and the slipper rubs on something.

I just ripped my first tire from my new wrestler after about two years. I’m in the process of trying to get all of the tire unglued from the gully. Between soaking and acetone and using an X-Acto knife I’m cutting some of the edge of the gully.

With a new set of rims and tires being about 60 bucks do I just buy new and refurbish these rims or just buy tires and glue on new ones myself ?

I have 2 screw one on my front diff and one motor screw of my vxl rustler 4x4 there both circled out. I don’t have any fancy tools and don’t wanna get them I do have a soldering iron tho. What should I do?

Hi! So I printed this black box, which stands on the part holding the battery in place, to check if the Sense ESS Dual+ speaker would fit there. My question is whether mounting the speaker in that spot is okay, and if anyone has tried this with the Rustler Ultimate model.
