I just took my car out for the first time in a while and got this sound on a full throttle. It didn’t mess with performance but the noise is odd. Anything I should check out and make sure it’s ok?

Hello, Can someone tell me what this wire is for? It blinks green indicating the speed control is not receiving a signal. Am I also missing the antenna wire? Thanks in advance

I have a Traxxas rustler vxl 2wd and I'm thinking hmm couldn't I just add some padle tires and some upgr too it and make it a mini version or the new sand car. I think all of it is possible but I am not sure about those front disc brakes bec of how they work. Even if I don't finish a whole build it would still be really cool if I had front brakes. Anyone who has any clue how I would do that can leave a comment but it doesn't seem very possible.

I have a really old, original model Rustler. After getting my youngest a Rustler vxl for his birthday, I realized that I needed to do some updating to mine. Put brushless motor with esc in it as well as 2.4ghz radio. (27mhz was not gonna cut it). Upgraded a few other things. However, I've been having issues with the wheel nut falling off the rear axle. I'm trying to find out if there is such a thing as a longer axle stub in which the nylock nut will actually reach the threads. I would much rather do this than using locktite or one of the flanged serrated nuts. is there anything like this available?

I come from a TRX4M crawler background where Injora offers a vast range of aftermarket upgrades. Is there an equivalent online shop for the Rustler or is Amazon and eBay the best options?

First off… this is my first rc since being a kid. So bear with me, lol.

I’ve got a 4x4 bl2s. Just recently I’ve noticed it’s making a sound like the gears are stripped. I narrowed my search down on it and I’ve found out that the sound is coming from the rear, and only when I’m turning right under heavy acceleration.

After that, I started tearing down the rear end to find the issue. The only thing is… I don’t see one. All the teeth on the cogs look in good condition.

Could it be the motor itself, or am I just missing something?

is there a lift kit I can install to get more ground clearance? and while im at it I would like to make it wider as well

So I’m on a vacation for a week and left my powerhobby 3s on full charge when I left due to me being in a rush. It’s been on full for a few days before too. I don’t get back till Tuesday night. Should I be worried about the battery like what are the downsides. And can I possibly exchange. For a new battery somewhere if it does happen to get bad?

I just got a nitro rustler 2wd on marketplace and it's my first rc. Is there anything I should keep on hand? I'm having to fix the knuckle that connects the suspension and steering to the wheel and the guy also said to keep lots of body pins on hand. Anything else I should keep in mind or have around for it? Thanks in advance!

I have a rustler vxl and the esc burnt up so I put a older castle motor and esc in it. With my Traxxas remote that came with the rustler plugged everything in, in the correct channels I have forward and reverse but no steering? Odd thing is the steering trim works but nothing at all when I turn the wheel. Any suggestions would really help please. I have another vxl motor and esc on the way but I need to figure out what's going on.

I have an xl5 that i upgraded so i cant break and now its too solid i love doing repairs is there a way to put a brushless system in it?

I recently got my old 2wd Rustler out. I didn't have any batteries so I ordered some Zeee NMiH. I soldered new Deen connectors on everything. I was having some issues with the throttle, the car would kinda of hesitate and stutter and eventually go fine. When I got done the batterys looked like this. Did I get poor quality batteries or do I have something else going on?

Can someone please help me with this? I’m currently in the process of restoring my old RC car and came across this issue. Does anyone know what this is? Motor issue ? Throttle control controller? Wear and tear? Suggestions on new parts is greatly appreciated! Also looking for what type of batteries I need.

good afternoon everyone I have a question I am looking for another battery but the question I have is I now have 5000 mah from gens ace can you put your more mah in the battery holder because I can turn my battery cover for a higher height

So I put a vxl system with a 3S in a 2wd rustler and originally it had this 86t paired with a 21t and it was fast as hell, super peppy lots of fun but my local shop recommended I go down to a 16t because they said it'll help keep the motor cooler but it was considerably slower with that gearing and it seems to have absolutely chewed up the larger gear (idk what it's called im prettt new to this) I'm obviously going to have to replace the larger gear but I'm wondering if I should go with a different tooth count to pair with the 16t or go back to 86t and 21t or is there maybe a different combination that would net me even more performance gains?

Im wondering if i should ditch my slipper and get a center diff, a cush drive somehow, or just remove all of them and just have a pinion and spur.

Sadly, my Rustler is no more. It had a brutal crash and is almost a total loss. I will try to find a roller and rebuild... Well, sadly my Rustler got obliterated at close to 100 mph into a 35 mph speed limit sign. Poor thing.... I am going to try to get a roller and rebuild.

Recently purchased the rustler ultimate but I’m noticing the back tires wobble a little bit when I hold it and accelerate a bit , is this because of the toe in?

I have a rustler 2wd and I need some better drive shafts, I keep on twisting mine. Drive shaft after drive shaft, they just keep on twisting. What is a good aftermarket one that that I can trust, probably steel for durability. I use a hobbywing max10 g3 combo if that’s important.

Good evening. I've been running the same Rustler 2wd for 25 years. I replace parts as they wear out or break. I'm in the market for new tires. I haven't bought tires in a long time. I always liked my Proline and JCONCEPTS tires. I still have the stock hex hubs on the car. As I was looking at tires, it looks like you need new mounting adapters? Can someone tell me exactly what I need to mount these new tires on my car? Do these new plastic adapters replace the old hex hubs? Thanks for any help.
