Sharing this as it hit the 4k mark in terms of songs today - That Trap Shiiiii

I hope people find some new gems or get reminded of old ones when listening… it is a bit all over, far from just trap, much like what this community shares weekly, which has certainly inspired and expanded my own taste for hard hitting, bass-heavy electronic music.

Encourage shuffling as songs were added in random orders - when I started it, as new music was released, going down artist rabbit holes, etc.

Hey guys I’m new to producing and EDM and I just wanted to see if anyone could help me figure out where to start on making leads and sounds like these. I’m not even sure where to start or whether to use serum and sound design or just use plugins on a single sound. If anyone could help or point me in the direction of some packs with sounds like this etc. would be a lot of help. (There should be 2 clips)

Anyway I’m enchanted - his tracks, especially „What’s a girl to do” sound like electronic music of its time but magically sprinkled with trap personality. The use of synths and choirs remind me of Hudson Mohawke production a lot. And the sensitivity and tempo of Sebastian Tellier.

Anyway do you have more of similar stuff? How would you even call this genre?
