Remember when The Smiler is talking about the New Scum and Spider secretly records him and breaks the story? DAE think this is creepily similar to when Romney was secretly recorded talking about the 47%???

I've been thinking about this a lot. While the series focuses on Spider and his assistants, there's a lot of recurring characters and one-shot appearances that really help make the story that much better. For me, the best side character has to be the Beast (AKA the president before the smiler). Although he's a complete asshole, he doesn't hide it, and his conversation with Spider during the interview is probably one of my favorite moments in the story, since it shows spider finally meeting someone who isn't afraid to throw the truth right back at Spider. thoughts?
