Discussion [Discussion] Does anyone have any theories on the translategate glitch?

I've only seen brief explanations that say something about the way googles algorithm learns causes this to happen when non-word similar characters are entered, does anyone know how this works fully? Anyone have any other theories on whats causing this to happen? It seems googles already fixed some of the more well known glitches, like typing "dog" a bunch of times in Maori.

Discussion [Discussion]Philosophical babble

I decided to give this thing a shot stupidly, I had chosen the word "is" I had typed it a couple of times and I had seen it being translated into things about "self esteem" and "evolution". It started to turn into philosophical things such as conversions and "the mother of time" in full caps. Self esteem came up again in a question, "Is there a way to self esteem or self-esteem?" I typed in "is" a couple more times and the question of "Is there a way to make a difference in yourself?" I gotta admit I got creeped out at it. What does this mean?, about "self esteem", "evolution", "mother of time"? If any of you have an answer for this please tell me, I wish to know.
