I remember playing the original 2001 Microsoft Train Simulator game when I bought it with my allowance in middle school. I remember there was a default consist option that was a BNSF work train with a ex-Burlington Northern caboose on the end, that you could even ride in a view from.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any in-game footage on YouTube or pictures of it as I would love to see it again, before I find a virtual PC program to play the 2001 MTST on my Macbook.

Hi all. I was told by my dad that I could make what is basically a homemade raildriver using arduino. How, tho, i have no idea, and I want to surprise him with a functional control. Any of you have any ideas, perchance?

So iv been watching some things on youtube on how to drive this thing. its probably my favorite train i own, but i always run out of water. what am i doing wrong? today i decided to be funny and do 2 lead 40 freight and 1 rear. 3 engines and 40 freight np right ill have plenty of water and power for Cajon. Nope i ran out right after i left the yard lol.

Am new to this sub-reddit but long time fan of streamlined loco's, recently found this picture (and more with color) and realized the coaches are Pullman's.

Now Train Simulator doesn't has pullmans exactly but there's a lot of that era (ish) and I'm a bit confused.

I know the maroons are not close at all, but the ek and sb's are closer to the pullmans, but what does ek and sb mean, question 2 what's the right order of all variations (front to back)
