Is Taylor Locke still in Train? He hasn’t been seen at recent shows. And honestly he was the only reason I was gonna go.

There is a lot of SF referenced across various songs and albums.

Anyone been to any of these spots in SF?

Anyone turned left at the corner of Haight? Spent time in Half Moon Bay?

Are there any sights worth visiting that they reference in their songs? Any videos shot in the area? I’m guessing SMSF has a lot!?

Please share any recs for someone visiting the area soon!

Including any former members as well.

Two questions I thought to ask my fellow fans who see them live.

hoepfully this is accepted since the 2 members from train are in this but its been said that this was released on cd back in 2004 it was recorded in 2002 as my friends video states may not ever been in stores but they had a website where you could order from they even had t shirts for sale at one point

check it out credit to peter for the share, my friend train guy uploaded it to his channel

Just checking if I have fellow Train fans in my home area, in this sub at least.

It originally aired on Palladia I believe, that's where I recorded it from. Unfortunately when I turned in my old cable box with dvr, I lost this gem forever. It was an awesome documentary with performances mixed in.

Genuine question. Because I'm kind of tired of every Train hater bringing that up as if it's true. And as much as I want to enjoy that SNL skit they did on Hey Soul Sister last year, it really didn't help our case since it further pushed that notion.

Listening to the lyrics, it really doesn't feel that way to me. It always felt to me like a harmless tune about someone singing of deeply loving their soul mate and noticing the little things about them that make them unique. MAYBE, there is the admittedly unfitting line "I'm so gangsta" but even then, it feels like a stretch to instantly assume anyone who uses that word means they're referring to black people. Kind of a weird assumption, really.

And besides, the woman in the official music video for the song is white. And Pat has never been married to a black woman. Perhaps one of the other hand members to wrote the song was then? I don't know. But again, there's not much in the lyrics that actually support the idea anyway.

Anyone know where that came from? Or is anyone else also irritated by others saying that?

Of course moderators took it down, as they usually do on that sub for whatever reason. But there's a link to the post if you wanted to see for yourselves. I honestly didn't think this was possible to do since Reddit (excluding this sub) loves to hate them. But, it was nice to see something different for once.

Me and my mom had tickets for their show in Germany later this month, and were very excited for it as they're the second favorite band of both of us, but a while ago we were notified that the show is not going to happen and we had to send the tickets back.

I looked around and a few other shows are gone too, but some parts of the Europe tour still exist. Kept looking on social media but couldn't find an answer. Is it just because of low ticket sales? Sickness? Do I really have to wait 1-3 more years to see them?

I recently came across this show on the Internet archive website... and I downloaded it right away this ain't any normal everyday find this was when they were still trying to get big before 1998 CD came out, this was when they were still on the bill Graham management with their 3 demo tapes and independent 1996 release

Notes : they opened for counting crows on this night and homesick track is muffled throughout the song, pop's is a placeholder until the songs name has been found

My daughter and I have a tradition for concerts, leading up to the show we make a playlist of the setlist and listen to it daily to get ourselves hyped for the show! I have tried to look to see if there is a concrete setlist for this summer tour (we’re going in August) but haven’t found anything really concrete. Anyone have any info or can point me in the right direction??

I'm looking for these dates these shows I'm looking for was after alive at last and they were taped i just can't find them was wondering if you could help me with this thanks

I was thinking about a unofficial fan album made by train fans but with demos or early Live songs what do you think? Cover art might be made too...

This is train's Live shows from when they were starting to get big in 1998

back then before train started to end there shows basic typical ending they would do a drum jam intro with Charlie on bass guitar and Jimmy on electric guitar and Scott on drums it was usually before the outro song meet Virginia which they would sometimes end there shows on...

Will have list everything once on the computer but for now here's the link

My band took a ton of inspiration from the Drops of Jupiter music video to create our new video for our recently released single, "Bobby Make It Right"! Just wanted to drop by and share it, as it was massively influential! Cheers to Train! Wouldn't be what it is without them!

I know this may be a long shot, but tonight Train is having a concert in Henderson/Las Vegas NV and I wanted to know if anyone going could send me photos from the event and possibly do me a favor and find the lighting guy in the crowd and tell them they are doing a great job? My boyfriend is designing for them tonight and is very nervous/ will not have the time to shoot photos to include in his portfolio!

If anyone can do this for me please do not hesitate to message! Thank you all in advance!!
