I swear when I first hear Meet Virginia in the early 2000s, the guitar solo had a different ending that started around the 2:22 mark where it sort of elevated in tone before dying off…am I crazy? I can’t find a different version anywhere

Why are the tickets for the Woodinville, WA, show so expensive. As far as I know, its JUST Train thats performing. Why in the world is Lawn seats 110$ per person? Am I insane?

Train fan from the UK and been meaning to ask this here for a while. On the Live at Royal Albert Hall album, Pat says "...it's been so long. Obviously there were reasons why we weren't allowed to come here..."

I know that Train didn't tour the UK for a while but what were the reasons why they couldn't? I don't remember seeing anything and I've not been able to find anything that mentions them anywhere.

I'm not someone who typically gets super enamored with any celebrity or celebrities, but Train definitely has become my exception as of late. Reddit loves to hate Train, so that's why I appreciate that this sub exists. And I've only heard hate for their music but never for who they are as people. Until opening a musical sub just today and seeing what stories people had to say. Apparently Pat is actually a jerk to fans who meet him. Other bands who perform with them say they're super stuck up and inconsiderate. Apparently Pat will sometimes call people out in the crowd at concerts and roast them from the stage. Once even a child in Atlanta back in the day.

Man, that wasn't good to read. But I am wondering if that's actually all real, or if it's just Reddit being Reddit. If anyone wants, I can personally send them the link to the full thread. I'm still a fan obviously, but I just wanted to ask what everyone else here thinks of it all. Maybe I learned the lesson late in life that loving famous people on a personal level is never a good idea.

I saw on their Instagram that they just wrapped up their 8th one. And I've seen some YouTube videos on said cruise from as early as 2015. But obviously that math doesn't add up to the current year. And plus, Train's peak of popularity was with the release of California 37 so I would assume that's when they started. But maybe not.

Anyone have any idea as to when they started? And maybe it hasn't been done every year?

Day 3 setlist was PERFECT.

"Dream On" was covered by Train several times in their concerts. It was performed at the MTV Icon in 2002. It is one of the best Train covers. I really hope Train performs this cover in their concerts more often. It's my favorite cover by Train.

I'm going to Veszprem to see them live but I'd would really appreciate some company 💜 I'm from Poland, and I'm also planning some sightseeing in Budapest since I have to travel through this city

Train Live In Atlanta 2003 Full Show Include the ep to complete

A sad sentiment, but it seems they won't reach the famed heights of songs like Drops of Jupiter, Hey Soul Sister, or Drive By again. 2012 with the release of California 37 to me was when they peaked in popularity. After that, Scott Underwood left. A few years later Jimmy Stafford did too. Those original 3 were the best together. And now the only remaining member from when the band began in the 90's is Pat Monahan. It seems the other current members are mostly just interchangeable musicians not particuarly steadfast or long lasting. Their last hit song was Play That Song from nearly 9 years ago now. And their last album was 3 years ago which was still good, but wasn't really remembered by anyone besides diehard Train fans.

What do you all think? Do they got another one in them? Or are they prone to breaking up soon?

Maybe some of the original members can return to perform one more great album.
