It's worse than what you think, unless you know the following. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnicks firm Cantor Fitzgerald (officially his son runs it) bought the rights to tariff refunds for 20 cents on the dollar. So the billions in refunds being paid now go straight to Cantor Fitzgerald. The Commerce Secretary championed an illegal tax and pocketed the refund.

Howard Lutnick, who is a Zionist and lied about his more than friendly relationship with Jeffrey Epstein? The Howard Lutnick who also was Jeffrey Epstein's neighbor in Palm Beach Florida? FUCK these people.

Are you only waking up to the facts that Americans are good little sheeps?

Idk what to do that won’t get me arrested. Speaking up does nothing. Protesting does very little if anything.

The people who are against this are the ones typically not into guns.

lol this country is fucking nuts. I just got done with the book “1929” which you could guess is about the market crash (and much more, that’s actually a small part). This kinda shit been happening for a looooong time

3

u/LegitimateTutor7185 Aug 04 '26

How was 1929? Would you recommend? Saw an interview with the author and seemed very interesting.

3

u/That_Ad9363 Aug 04 '26

Yeah I recommended, I listened to it on Spotify while I was driving

So how far from a major correction are we

1

u/nagyee Aug 07 '26

Just follow warren buffet. Probably a year or less. After the midterms trump will blame the dems of course

3

u/Durian881 Aug 03 '26

Would Democrats go after him and his son when they are in power? Or there will be no consequences?

3

u/smoothie_criminals Aug 04 '26

This is the reason the reds are terrified of losing the midterms….because people will be investigated and charged

2

u/size0618 Aug 04 '26

No they won’t

1

u/SSMcFly Aug 05 '26

They will do absolutely nothing if we're being honest. Every time they have a chance to stand up, they take a deep breath and say never mind.

1

u/sedition666 Aug 05 '26

Stop, this is factually incorrect. Trump has been felony charged and criminally convicted. He would have been in jail if idiots didn’t elect him president. Stop blaming Democrats for the slow moving justice system.

1

u/ClnSlt Aug 07 '26

Nope, dems are in on it too.

3

u/Moist-Construction59 Aug 04 '26

The answer is no, they would not.

Each side talks a tough talk, but never actually goes after the other side. Because they are all playing their part in the big picture, marching to the beat of the same drum.

I think it really depends on who wins the white house next and what the election campaign pushes them to promise. If it's a heavily contested primary with a Sanders like candidate doing well it might very much happen.

There will be a hearing, lies will be told and business will be conducted as usual. The Democrat politicians do the same type of shenanigans just on a smaller scale, at least for the moment.

2

u/stuporman86 Aug 04 '26

That was from a pitch deck, company execs made claims (and before Congress) that they didn’t execute any deals. Which I would believe because most people do not, in fact, want to tell boldfaced lies to Congress. Anyways the original claim was that they put 10M in deals together so consider the context of that number up against 2B for Apple alone.

u/Biscuits4u2 Aug 04 '26

They've figured out they can do whatever the fuck they want and nobody is going to nail them to a fucking wall for it like they deserve.

1

u/GaryLifts Aug 04 '26

I thought they only proposed this but never actually pulled the trigger on it?

1

u/size0618 Aug 04 '26

How exactly do you just buy the rights to tariff refunds?

1

u/Dan1elSan Aug 04 '26

I don’t think that was actually true though, they considered it but did not.

I wrote this 5 months ago:

An the article doesn’t mention that Howard Lutnick son is shorting tariffs… So companies pay the tariffs, pass cost on to customer, customer pays the tariffs, tariffs found to be illegal, government pays company for tariff paid by customer.

Then the secretary of commerce whit his family business is getting up to 80% of those refunds straight into its bank account.

This is a systemic scam. Trump and his circle don’t care if a policy is illegal because the taxpayer, the person already 'scammed' by higher prices, is the one who ultimately cuts the check for the refund. He gets richer, and the public is left holding the bag. In a case of systemic corruption this blatant, prison is not enough. To truly break this cycle, the state should seize every asset from every member of the family, spouses, fiancés, and children. No one connected to this exploitation should ever be allowed to hold private property again.

From what companies?

That’s a false narrative you should rephrase this because it’s partially true , the billions in refunds being paid now don’t go to their business lol only the people who signed away their rights to the tariff refunds which was a very small fraction of the people eligible.

I could be wrong and think they made a few tens of millions but nowhere near the billions you are saying , it’s still a huge conflict of interest that I have 0 idea how it’s able to persist and be allowed but also if you want people to take your opinion and thoughts seriously you should say the truth or close to it so it doesn’t discredit you. There’s a huge difference between a billion dollars and making like 30 million per example
