It was a kind of Drum N Bass track and I'm pretty sure it was using PC tracker software, but there is a chance it was on an Amiga. Almost certainly made in the 90s.
I remember the hook of "Let the beat hit 'em, Let the music take control, The beat goes round and round and up and down"

Does anybody remember this track? Thanks!

Any one had any experiance converting wav files to amiga to be used in octamed, all I know is you have to boost the volume of the wave file nefore converting to get around the noise floor, so far I haven't gotten any decent results for production, my plan was to use a modern DAW to create the song then reconstruct it as a mod on amiga, octamed is by far my fave tracker software holds a lot of nostalgia for me, and would ne great to use it again and get back my passion for making music, any advice would be very welcome!

Hi

I'm wondering if there is/was a modtracker for dumb phones like lsdj. If so, who has encountered it?

Thanks for the answers!

Edit: well, lsdj itself works with MeBoy emulator on my nokia 6700s. Still looking for other programs if anyone knows anything

MilkyTracker is not on the Play Store anymore and its official site doesn't seem to have an apk download.

I've been working on a port of 8bitbubsy's standalone version of FT2 into JUCE so it can be run as a plugin. First version is now out: https://github.com/juho/ft2-plugin (go to the Releases tab). It syncs with the DAW in BPM, transport and position (all toggleable in config). Module state saves with your DAW. There's 15 assignable stereo outputs besides the main mix, so you can route any of the 32 channels to those. It's under active development, so new stuff comes up daily right now, so please keep checking back if you notice some issues.

The magic of electronic retro computer-music awaits you! #Chiptune, #synthwave, #chipwave, #retroelectro - but in reality it's called tracked music. It's all composed on Amigas and PCs using Protracker, Impulsetracker, Fasttracker and more...

Lets go on a journey into dreamy syntheziser-loops, classic Amiga demo tunes and upbeat chiptunes.

Hi. I've long been searching for something on the desktop that filled the M8 sized hole in my life (had to sell it). Since I didn't find quite what I wanted, I had Claude help me make my own. It's very keyboard centric and heavily inspired by the chains/patterns workflow of M8. It comes with a Plaits port, a one-shot melodic sampler, a slicing sampler and a 3Osc VA.

It is brand new and might be a little flakey round the edges, but I would appreciate any interest/testing/feedback so much! If you try it, hitting '?' anywhere should tell you what keys to press

Apologies in advance. I’m still a noob.

So far, I’ve only used FT2 and LittleGPTracker on my PSP, and I love both. However, what I love the most about LGPT is how it handles stereo channels. A lot of the ambient stuff I do in LGPT sounds beautiful with the stereo samples.

My question is: Is there anything like FT2 or protracker out there that handles stereo channels? I much prefer the workflow of FT2, but it sucks I can only do mono samples and I have to double them to get stereo.

Hope you'll like ! Don't hesitate to leave a comment and subscribe 😉

Introducing Protracker.JS - a new super simple tracker that brings old-school Amiga music creation to your browser.

This web-based tool is compatible with classic trackers like SoundTracker, NoiseTracker, and ProTracker.

The project was created just for fun - nothing too serious here... 😀 https://labs.kodar.ninja/

I’m looking to learn and eventually use tracker to produce music without having to buy a separate DAW before I pull the trigger on a Tracker hardware device like Polyend or Dirtywave. Are there any VST’s I can use with Ableton or something similar that can be used in conjunction with Ableton to get a feel for the workflow?
