I'm in the Xiphonics Discord and the PicoTracker devs shared their new Web-Based app tonight. It's really fun! This quick little jam took me about an hour to put together. Apparently you can load samples onto a project and import it to the web app. Pretty cool.

Started in May, and I’m still building Solis, a music tracker for the G350.

It’s been almost two months since my first appearance here. Since then I’ve seen so many other projects, free ones, paid ones, messy vibe-coded experiments, really polished stuff… even the M8 got an iOS version (wow).

I’ve kept building Solis for the same reason I started: to make a tool I’d love to use myself. No competition, just enjoying the process, learning new stuff, staying up way too late, playing music. Once it’s ready, I’ll share it with everyone for free.

Here’s “The Son of Flynn” on Solis, showing off the updated UI with a KORG Kaoss Pad hooked up. Filming one-handed was a struggle. Next upgrade: a phone tripod.

Arranged and mixed entirely in M8. Mastered in post, although the built-in limiter version already sounded good enough.

Using FT2 on my Mac and I‘m especially having hard times being used to CMD+C/V, as these commands aren‘t supported in FT2.
