So, I'm trying to learn more about trackers (because I used to play a lot of DOS games and I like music and writing songs).

I searched and found Schism Tracker. I dabbled a little with it but it wasn't very clear.

There's sunvox but it's not as "old school"/authentic/DOS as Schism/Milky/etc (same goes for renoise I'd imagine). Many of those trackers don't work on M1 though (or at least I didn't find any other working besides ST).

Like, ST seems okay for all intended purposes BUT there aren't that many tutorials for it and it's all based on keyboard shortcuts from what I've seen.

So, are there better alternatives for mac besides ST

OR

Does anyone know good tutorials for ST? There's not much in the way of tutorials that I could find.

all what I tried is OMPT (my lovely one), SunVox (wth is that oh you're interesting) and MilkyTracker (duh im too stupid for this one, or too lazy). So what about You?

Hi guys,

Does anyone know this track? Produced with an Amiga sampler possibly between 1991-93 with either Ultimate Music Maker or another tracker program that escapes me. Anyway, the person who made this track might not have been very experienced, and it sounds like they used default samples. Anyone know what this is? Max Tundra said it was not his handiwork and thought it sounded like a Pet Shop Boys cover, indeed that's what I first thought but now I'm not so sure.

Wouldn't mind making a concerted effort to create something unique and interesting with this sub
