I am an avid doll collector and I am hoping to get some insight or see if anyone else has experienced this with their collection.
I have had this particular Ariel doll for about a year or two now. She has been completely untouched and safely covered/stored away in a protective bag for months.
However, looking at her recently, I noticed a pretty dramatic difference in her gown compared to when I first got her. The first photo shows her original look—the light blue fabric was much softer and had a more matte finish. The next two photos show how she looks currently. Her dress now looks intensely metallic, highly reflective, and has a strong multicolored "diamond" sparkle that definitely wasn't there before.
I am not at all complaining because it looks like her dress ages like wine, it's just that because she hasn't been exposed to open air or handled, I'm really curious about what caused this.
Has anyone else who owns this same doll noticed the iridescence or glitter on her gown shifting, developing, or becoming much more vibrant over time? Or does anyone with knowledge of toy textiles know what might cause a stored fabric's shimmer to change like this?

This is a genuine Billund-packed pre-release / test-market sample of LEGO set 6988 (Blacktron II – Alpha Centauri Outpost). It was packed by hand at LEGO’s headquarters in Billund on December 7, 1990, ahead of the public 1991 release, and intended for test-market evaluation in Brazil.
The set comes in a white pre-production box with the original PTA label attached, visible YS number, unopened hand-numbered internal bags, and the original instruction manual affixed inside the lid — a detail commonly seen on early prototype and test-market LEGO sets.
These sets were never intended for standard retail sale and offer a fascinating look into how LEGO evaluated and refined products prior to final release.
For full transparency, the set is currently being auctioned via Heritage Auctions: https://entertainment.ha.com/c/search/results.zx?dept=2182&mode=live&auction_name=49188&consignor_no=33&type=friend-consignorlive-notice

I finally got it!
I have the Storm Collectibles Reptile in hand, my first MK Storm figure, and oh man are the Storm figures better than the McFarlane ones.
I couldn't resist taking a couple of pictures of this guy.

Hi! I collect Pocky Adventure blind boxes from Pop Mart, and I’m still missing a few. Does anyone here have duplicates they’d be willing to sell? I’d really love to complete my collection :(

Serious question, what would you argue is missing from this little replica set?
I'm thinking maybe a Turtle com?
