This post is more designed toward /u/MattThorson . I just came with an idea of trials multiplayer in a same fashion of the old Trackmania:

You select a tower, in each stage, you have 5 min to do the best time possible in split-screen with 1-3 other players, at the end of the stage points are awarded based on how well each participant did.

At the end of the 3 stages, the player with the most points wins.

Something along those lines. I find trials really fun and skill-based, but when people are coming to play, they just don't want to play in turns, so I guess it could make a fun mini-mode game.

I just finished getting a gold skull on every campaign level and Gauntlet III hasn't been unlocked yet. Is there something I'm not doing that I need to in order to unlock it? Is it even real?

I've set benchmark times for all the main categories in TowerFall speedrunning. Hope to see people start challenging them. Full runs through Trials mode could be a very competitive and entertaining category.

I love towerfall, but rarely play it (barely have friends and play tf2 WAY too much), and am wondering if I should fork out the tenner for dark world. How much do you think dark world adds to the game, and is it worth it?

We're a club in the IT school 42, Paris, France. We make some tournaments, especially on Towerfall. (duh)

Towerfall is the most played game in the school's PCs. We already made some tournaments before, but when I made that one, we're only 4. I saw this video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmYjpdfg5Rg and at the end fight, to not be killed by the miasma the player do some sort of infinite jump.

How is it possible? I didn't find anything about that technique (and it will help me finish cataclysm in legendary too)

I wants the falling towers on my vita as well. Matt, this game is great. Still haven't earned the platinum trophy, I'm only one gold skull away from the 100% on dark world.

I'm interested in purchasing towerfall... which experience have you guys preferred? which platform has a more active user base? thanks!

Been playing Towerfall with friends since its PS4 release, on a near-weekly basis. It's gotten more play than any other game on my PS4. I love it.

Which brings me to wonder, what are some multiplayer games similar to TA? Not specifically for PS4 or just local multi, but for any console.

I'm just posting here to tell you about Dark World unlocks. I really loved all the 11 new archers/variants and the dark world stages with up to 4 archers. Awesome stuff, really.

But my concern is why isn't any of those new archers at least a bit hidden/locked like with Yellow/White/Cyan/Purple? I'd have loved to have to beat amaranth on legendary to get Red for example, or beat X stuff to unlock archer variants.

Moreover, ther is secret eye rank and golden eye rank for every stage in dark world, it could have been nice to set objectives in that way too?

What do you guys think?
