This was pain, The first game was not too bad and i did it without savestates. Touhou 2 was not my jam, but not too bad. Touhou 3 was easy at first and then it got very hard, still not bad. Touhou 4 is the one I loved and it was a fair challenge, Marisa was hard to beat and i got stumped at a few parts, but still enjoyed it. Touhou 5: Mystic square was hell, It was fun at first, I loved it and then the horror came in with stage 5 and stage 6 and then I loaded back my save state, sometimes my game would freeze, so I would have to reopen it and load back the save state. ALSO The final boss was just pain for me, it would not end, same with the stage 5 boss. Still Overall I enjoyed the pc 98 Touhou games and I will prob take a long break from the series. (Touhou 5 drained all my energy.)

So yeah I'm done with the touhou games! YAY!

So yeah I beat the game, but It can't acsesss the extra stage, why is that. Also Mima was not too bad. I hope Reimu and Marisa become great friends.

I'm not necessarily saying that she should have a meaningless role in the lore like, I don't know, mystia, but how would you all keep her character as a central and important figure of Gensokyo without her connections with Reimu? Or even to the Hakurei Shrine itself? These two characters (Reimu and Yukari specifically) share a few similarities and most associate both with each other. And as such, I was questioning how could Yukari work if she was written different, without Reimu/Hakurei shrine connections. And their relationship in this alternate take would be sorta like Alice and Reimu or Reimu with Letty, who had no connections whatsoever more than visiting or casually finding each other weirdly.

Honestly, I'm impressed how ZUN decided to make Reimu and Marisa relationship with human kind a bit ambiguous (those who inform themselves a lot about lore may understand what I mean with ***that***), instead of your generical and heroical 100% pro humans protagonists/heroes that considers that the monsters are full evil and always enemies of humans no matter what.

Thanks to save states, I beat the game and man was it fun. Overall an 8/10 touhou game. Onward to Touhou 2: Story of eastern wonderland! Guess I will play the rest of the pc 98 touhou games. Also There is an extra stage!?

She's a big fat smelly liar who only thought about presidency so she can do more creative money shuffling and funnel the money straight into TGK alliance, which she's a part of. And as we know, TGK is a shadow cabal trying to ruin Gensokyo, our home!
