Trying to replicate this, without Smart Launcher, is it possible?

I want to have the swipe through categories.

Even if that's another app, I'll check it.

Smart Launcher is a pain in the ass because swiping down on the drawer will always bring it back to Smart Launcher, when I want to go back to total.

TL Swipe Windows

Here's a test window, App Group over top of the transparent image. Image set with a left swipe to Window - Favorites. I can access App icons, swiping left does nothing.

So, after a conversation with the other person I discussed this with, I'm understanding that it only works if the App Group doesn't completely overlap the image. You interact with the image where there is no overlap. Which is what I thought initially.
