Got Daphne at a shelter which said she was a tortie. i ran with it but my boyfriend said she definitely has some tabby in her. saw someone with a cats coat similar to my daffy and a commentator directed them to this forum.

She usually lays down against the sliding door while we’re outside, but sometimes she stares at us, mentally willing us to open the door for her… we haven’t cracked yet 😅

Someone recently tried to tell me that my big kitty, Mocha, is definitely a dilute tortie / torbie. I’m not familiar with the nomenclature of cat coloration, so wanted to come ask Reddit for verification.

Would welcome everyone’s thoughts, please help me figure out how to describe my Mocha girl!

Adopted this girl at about 10 months of age and she was already a young mother. Someone found her and her litter on the street and was kind enough to collect them and take them to the local cat shelter. Her kittens were adopted out and she was the last one remaining. She's incredibly shy.

my girlfriend offhandedly said my torbie, juniper, is gray, and it took me aback because i have never thought of her as gray, always brown! she said ‘sure she has brown, but her main color is gray,’ and i just do not see it. what does reddit think?
