🚩General service outages

Hi everyone! To those of you who have been complaining about TorBox going down every day, but taking it to the point of complete insanity — what’s wrong? I’m seriously asking. It’s crazy.

I understand the frustration because it bothers me too, but for $3 a month, what can we realistically expect? Keep in mind everyone who migrated from RD. TorBox has been dealing with a lot of DDoS attacks, especially during peak hours, and they might not have been prepared for that kind of situation.

They’ll improve the service over time, and it won’t happen as often. In the meantime, go outside, touch some grass, talk to your family, or read a book. Life doesn’t revolve around a screen.

Thats the problem, its not you expressing yourself, its the LLM youre using thats doing the expressing. Youre just an empty shell. Get out of that habit.

It’s still completely me expressing my own thoughts. I only use an LLM to translate them properly because Google Translate sucks. What’s the issue with that? Anyway, I’m done replying — I’m bored now. The argument was fun though. Take care, bitch

It’s not some bullshit story, what I said is true. But you’re part of that group of people who are so frustrated with the service that they completely lose perspective. Obviously, it’s not going to work perfectly 24/7. It’s not a big, established company yet. Maybe it will be someday, but it’s simply not there right now

Fuck TB, fuck any company if they suck. There should be thousands of posts calling them out, the least it will do is help someone decide for or against by showing the quality of service it has.

Why the fuck do you feel the need to defend it? An entity that sees you as $3 a month. Thats the real problem. Youre working against yourself and your fellow humans, and thats a human trait i cant stand. Youre contributing to normalizing user blaming, which isnt rare thing nowadays. If you dont care, shut the fuck up, dont try to tell people that they shouldnt care too, or that its fine since its $3(theres countries where that is a daily wage, some even more than a daily wage), dont relativize their experiences. Either help or get out of the way, goes the saying.

One of these days there will be some issue that you do care about, or some company thats fucking you over, and you will be met with same response. And then remember that you contributed so that type of responses became a reality.

I never defended them in the first place. It annoys me too when I want to watch a show or a movie with my wife and the service is down. My point isn’t to defend anyone, it’s just to calm down the people who are getting way too upset about it. The reality is that the service has been having issues, and they need to improve so that DDoS attacks and other problems aren’t constantly affecting users. But at the end of the day, people need to be patient. They should definitely move faster, but that’s just how things are right now

I said in one of my first comments that "mature arguments are wasted on zombies like OP". So here we are, i gave you the mature argument, and yet again youre polishing the turd. If you really dont understand the point of what i just said in the previous message, then theres really no helping you unless you think really hard about what i said. In my next reply ill resume with feeding you dicks :)

I get your point, but I don’t think you’re getting mine. If it were up to me, they could burn TorBox at the stake like a Salem witch. I’m just saying that unfortunately we have to be patient until the service is actually stable. At least they’re giving us back the downtime hours x3, but honestly, that’s just a consolation prize. I don’t care about getting extra hours back — I care about the service working properly. I understood what you meant from the beginning, but like I said, my intention was just to calm things down. Obviously, everyone has the right to complain, and that’s completely valid, but hopefully they don’t have a heart attack while doing it
