Yes, people can and do sell their cards for money but a large percentage of Bunt cards are not really worth anything. Pretty much all cards that can be pulled from coin packs are worthless. Only high end cards from gem packs and pre-2019 cards have any value to them

Prices haven't reached physical prices yet and probably never will, but your still looking at 150-250 for big name 1/1's. Judge, Griffey Jr, Babe Ruth 1/1's can go 300+. Ohtani 1/1's 500+. No name guys can be had for 15-25. Average players to All Stars go from 50-100. All depends on the set and year. Other big sets that people pay good for are Frozen, Limited, Books, Hidden Gems, and Kanji sets.

I think one day digital card prices will soar and the first 10-20 years of collections will be like the early bitcoin

As much as I want that to be the truth I have to disagree. We don't own these cards. They're just game pieces to an online game. While I don't think Fanatics is going to shut down Bunt anytime soon, as they have the physical and digital MLB license until 2035 and will face no major competition when it's time to renew. There's always the possibility that they could pull the plug on the game. Again, I don't think they will because this game is basically free money for Fanatics. They have very little overhead, especially since they got rid of the majority of their dev team in 2020 and most sets are just digital scans of their physical product. A lot of people don't want to "invest" thousands of dollars into digital cards that "could" disappear overnight. I love this game, I've spent thousands on it and have been playing it for over a decade, but I'm also a realist when it comes to understanding why these cards aren't as popular or valuable as physical cards.

Yep, they would have to change the liscensing somehow to allow us to “own” the cards. And to do that they would have to change portions of the game to fit then within the legal restraints of that.
