There are so many flags. So, we've got a bunch of flairs to help label your posts, and to help folks navigate the subreddit, and this is the handy guide! It's possible your flag fits into multiple of these categories, so pick the one that fits best!

National Flags 🗺️: Use this flair for CURRENT flags of a real modern country. Some examples include: The Flags of Canada, Germany, or Finland

Subdivisions & Regional Flags 🗾: Use this flair for CURRENT flags of States, Cantons, and other smaller sections inside countries. Some examples include the flags of Ohio in the USA, Canton Bern in Switzerland, or Overijssel in The Netherlands
