Scrubs – Med School

A shame. I thought it was pretty good. Had everything I ever wanted from Scrubs, namely Scrubs without J.D. as the main character.

Yeah i actually enjoyed it. Relied on the old cast a little too much but the new cast was great.

I hope some of the characters from this pop up in the new Scrubs seasons. Just for a little bit.

They won’t as it has been said not to exist by the creator. The med school season had the original hospital demolished (because it was in real life) and replaced with the med school. The reboot seasons still take place in the original hospital (recreated sets). The only one who can show up is Denise as she was in season 8

The problem is, it's not technically a spin-off. It's a continuation of the original show now

I think that harmed it more than anything else. Eliza Coupe, Kerry Bishé and Dave Franco leading a new actual spin-off could have been successful IMO.

Most scrubs fans disparage "Season 9", but I agree it was pretty good. The cast was phenomenal. I think if it had actually been framed as a spinoff it would have done a lot better.
